The Adoption Process.
If anyone would like to let us know how this works.I would be very greatful for one,I am most interested in the legal proccess as well as the physical proccess (eg,meeting the child/parents etc)

I would also be very interested in this topic but I think it's very different here in the UK compared to the US?

In the UK:
The first you would need to to to get the ball rolling as such is to get in touch with your local social services department, you can do this by contacting your local council and they will give you the contact details. Your details will then simply go on a waiting list. It is very common to be on a waiting list for months and months until you start the process actually starts, I have read online that it can take as long as 3-10 years from the start of the application to the adoption actually happening.
