I'm a bit psychic sometimes...

Earlier this week I commented to a co-worker that it was about time from someone from our Compliance dept. in Boston to show up and conduct an unannounced audit. Bingo! Today someone is here. Strange. Maybe this isn't really a psychic episode, maybe more like a subconscious observation that every fall someone shows up....but still. Kinda weird!

I have two premonitions that still remaind quite vivid.

In 1996, my grandmother passed away. I commented to my best friend that I didn't know what my dad and aunts would pick for her to wear. I remembered a pink dress she had for my cousin's wedding, and I remember Grandma saying it was the prettiest dress she ever had. I didn't mention this to my parents but discovered later that was the dress they chose her to be buried in.

A few years ago my husband's mentally not-quite-right uncle was "evicted" from hubby's grandma's (uncle's mom's) house. No one knew where he went after that, and I had a thought of if Uncle had a heart attack or something in a pay-by-the-week motel, no one might find him for a while. Well, Uncle DID have a heart attack! Except it was in the parking lot of a grocery store....and a fire station with paramedics was literally two buildings away. That was quite freaky to learn that my premonition came true.

Anyway....just rambling. Does anyone else have stuff like this happen to them?

No one has come to tell me boss and I are being audited this year, but we're not in the free and clear yet. Think I'll lay low for the rest of the day!

I have lots of experiences like this Beth,I totaly believe in it,most of mine were when I was younger.Also know many people who,like yourself,just know things sometimes.Apprently there's about abotu intuition,my husband and I were watching final destination last night and I was wondering about it,he said,that apparently if you see an event play in your mind as if it was real,then listen to it.Believe it.I have had too many things happen to write down,btu I will try and think of the best one.lol

I have a few moments like that. Once, I was behind a service repair truck on the interstate. I was probably 3 car lengths behind him and I was going about 70 mph. He had several long ladders on the back of the truck and all of the sudden I thought to myself, "I wonder what would happen to me if one of those ladders fell off his truck?" No sooner than I had completed the thought I began to slow down to get more distance from him and one of his ladders fell off!!!!!!!!

I was far enough away that I had time to break hard and change lanes. If I hadn't slowed down it probably would have struck my windshield!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder if it is premonitions/pyschic visions or are we just recognizing, at least on a sub-conscious level, that the circumstances are right for something specific to happen?

Found out we will not be under review this year for the audit so Yay! Boss freaks out when Home Office visits but I do a good job so I'm never worried about stuff like this!

So glad to hear there will not be an audit! That is so stressful!

I'm not sure what it is but I sure do try to listen to my own intuition. It's a powerful thing!

all i have to say is THANK GOD i dont have premonitions like yall do... this morning i was supposed to call and wake my mom up at 8am so that she could meet us at the house by 10 (yeah i dont know why she needs 2 hours to get ready lol) so we could take the kids to the pumkin patch, and i called like 8 times between 8 and noon, and she never answered, i left quite a few voicemails, mainly because i was concerned, then i started to have this bad feeling that something had happened to her because the phone will usually wake her if i call a few times, and she never did answer, so i was almost ready to pack up the kids and head to her house to make sure she wasnt hurt or dead or something when she finally called at like noon to appologize that the dr put her on this new medication and it apparently knocked her out cold so she didnt hear the phone and slept for like 12 hours lol!!! but seriously, i really thought something was really wrong with her, that i was ready to drive to her house to check on her, so im happy i was wrong!!!

I sometimes dream little snippets of a conversation or a ''scene'' but often years later before I will suddenly realize I already know what is happening or what is going to be said next. I also had one happen just the other day, that involved me, my husband, and Lucy. I also dreamed it long before I had Lucy, so at that time I totally brushed it off because it was so far from reality for me to even consider I would have a baby (laughs on me!). It is never, ever, anything that is important or earth shattering, just a little piece of life I already saw the preview of.

Iv had alot of moment , when i was two months pregnant i had a dream i was pregnant and having a little girl (i didnt know i was pregnant at the time) in my dreams i kept calling her cloie thats why i named her cloie, and i aslo had dreams of what she looked like and its right on the spot except for eye couler what was a shock to me because her dad is black and i have weaker jeans than him apparently with my blood type being O- n his is O + lol i dont know ovisly bull cus she looks nothing like him all me lol. but i had a lot of moments like this growing up a lot bout my granddad that happened to save his like 3 times when he was having heart attacks.
