Yeah totally I have not known anyone with a washer/dryer in their kitchen until I met some of the UK girls on here. Actually ours was in a seperate room that will be demolished and we are building 2 walls at our rear entrance and making that the laundry room. So where the white door is in the kitchen, will be opened up to the once outside entrance instead.
You'll see once we are done...DF plans on demo this weekend, just gotta finish taking everything out, not much left.

Nice to see the progression gutter. Was that faux or real brick? Whatever, it's a real piece of work....brick AND paneling! lol. I still think my kitchen is uglier, much uglier, but our floors run neck and neck in ugly!
And since it was mentioned, I'm used to washer/dryers in the basement, but basements are very common here. When we build our new house though, I WILL have a first floor laundry room (not kitchen). I'm tired of lugging baskets up and down the stairs and having to manuever them through a doorway and past the refrigerator (basket barely fits). At least hubby is planning a laundry chute in the floor of our remodelled bathroom. That will eliminate half of the basket-toting!

haha fake brick wallpaper, GOSH I'll be happy to see it go!! Our laundry room will be main floor too, DF has been thinking of putting it upstairs but I think that's not going to work since our floors are creeky and wobbly upstairs.
Should be pretty near gutted today, I'll update pics hopefully tonight!!! DF has been off all day and with our daughter at the sitters, there better be nothing left, haha!!

omg you should see the pics now, i'll get them on tonight I hope. We are down to the studs on 3 walls, the 1 wall has the same metal siding as outside, so I think that'll be a job to remove....I'll have to show you when I gets pics.

Haha, I just keep thinking of the positive at the end of it all
I'm getting tired of doing dishes in a bathroom sink though, lol!!
Well it's an addition and you can only get thru it thru one doorway and it's blocked off
