UM................

I got my period yesterday...earlier than I was expecting,but when I added it into my chart,I didn't see HOW early it was.According to my chart,my cycle has only been 24 days long...and IF I ovulated (as you all think) on CD16...that would make my leteal phase 8 days.I am a bit baffled because,like I have said before.My cycles are usually ALWAYS the same length.I can't recall ever having had a cycle longer than 28 days or shorter than 27,24 seems VERY short.I am not so much concerend for my health but for my contracetion methods.I AM wondering if I O'd last cycle despite the rise in temps,I actually usually get O cramps for about 24 hours before/around ovulation.I am always very aware of them.This last cycle I remember wondering where they were?Anyway...it's just very odd for me and I hope that someone can perhaps reassure me that it's not gonna make my O time hard to predict.Is there anything else I can do to moniter myself safely.

Holi, I think I mentioned it before, but if you want to use a back-up method (in addition to charting and withdrawal), you could try the Today Sponge (has spermacide). Easy to use and comfortable, just not 100% effective, but if you're using it with withdrawal, it'll give you that bit of extra protection.

I pulled up your chart again (mel, it's www.mycycle.com -- Holi/teochuck) and based on what's there, it still looks like CD16 for O-day as near as I can tell.

Hmmmm could be that you o'd on CD14 and that you had a fallback rise?

It could be that I did and I think I usually DO BUT,it still would make my cycle 24 days which is awfully short for me.Anyway...There is no question I have ,I am bleeding a lot and cramping etc...it's just bizarre for me thats all.Thanks for the input.

Could be just one wacky cycle hun, it happns to us all occasionally.
