Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
Lindzee, hope you get some answers tomorrow. I had wacky cycles where
arrived on time, yet I had supposedly not ovulated. I found out further down the line that my progesterone was on the low side but obviously that didn't stop me getting pregnant, so there is hope hun. I do think Beth is right about temping vaginally though. I know it sounds yuk but it worked for me and made a massive difference for Beth if you look back at her charts. Go armed with a list of questions and make sure they don't fob you off. Let us know what happens.
Beth, good luck with the increase in meds. I guess you started them today, hope the headaches don't get you down too much.

Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
Quick update on moi:
My follow up appointment was this afternoon with my doctor. She told me that all my blood results came back fine and that everything with my ultrasound was good. The only thing that showed up in my ultrasound was that I have a retroverted uterus, which she said really isn't a big deal. So I guess my plumbing is good! However, my doctor thinks it is likely a hormonal problem, so she has referred me to an OBGYN that is a specialist in Reproductive Endocrinology & Fertility. Yikes. I don't know if I feel that I need that level of "help", but apparently I will be receiving it nonetheless. Until I get my appointment scheduled there, I suppose it will be practice makes perfect!!
Thanks everyone for thinking of me! How are the rest of you ladies?
How is the femara Beth? I hope you are feeling okay!

Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
Lindzee, glad to hear it's not all bad news. Both times I have been referred to a fertility obgyn, I have found myself pregnant so maybe that's all you need! Retroverted uterus isn't all that bad, I think it can slow things down a little but I've got a feeling there are certain 'poisitions' that are better for baby making with that! I will have a look for you!

Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
Lindzee, I think a retroverted uterus is pretty common and nothing to worry about. I'm guessing the new dr. might have you do the "Clomid Challenge." That's where they'll test your progesterone one cycle to see if you're ovulating and then put you on meds if you aren't. That's just a guess though, but I'm excited you're moving forward!
No heachaches this time around on the higher dose Femara. Well, I did have a little one last night but I was drinking wine so I think it was related to that, lol. Going to try to do acu tonight.

Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
Emma,
Thanks for the replies! Perhaps I will follow suit with you then now that I have been referred!
And you are right, I don't think a retroverted uterus will be a huge problem, I think over 20 % of women have it or something like that. Thanks for checking out the positions for me, that is awesome of you! LOL!
Beth, I am glad I am moving forward as well. Onwards and upwards, right?? I think you are right about what testing they will do....I am sure they will check my progesterone to see if I am Oing [which I know i am not, at least not yet this cycle or recently in other ones...] But maybe my body will get into gear this month and O! *Fingers crossed!*
I am so glad to hear that you have no headaches this time around, that is such great news. Before you know it, it will be O time for you, so get ready to catch that eggie!
And as for wine, yum! Good luck with the acu tonight as well!!

Lindzee, I forgot to ask if you had tried taking soya isoflavones? Both me and Georgi got pregnant using that!

Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
I have a retroverted Uterus! The lady said a third of women have them, and it's usually nothing to worry about. It can be associated with endometriosis, but not necessarily!

Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
Toffee,
Look you and I are already starting to make up that percentage here on the board! LOL. I don't think it is really anything to worry about either, lots of people have them and have had no problems. I did read that it can be associated with endo as well, but my u/s looked clear of anything else, so for that I am thankful.
REALLY hoping I will O this cycle! And that you will catch a good eggy Beth!!

Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
Oh I'm here too, just kinda hanging out!
I had acu last night and was upset when I found out while I waiting for the dr. that MY dr. was on vacation and no one told me! So I had this other (although qualified) yahoo that I really didn't care for. Said "Oh you're here for infertility treatments." I DO NOT USE THE "I" WORD! And neither does my dr.! So that instantly turned me off. He never asked where I was in my cycle, didn't put any needles on my abdomen (hello? Don't we wanna stimulate the ovaries and uterus??), didn't leave me there for as long as my dr. does, and I didn't have the any of the normal reactions/sensations that I do during her sessions. Nothing. So, I decided that I absolutely do not want to see this guy again on Friday and made my next appt. for Monday instead. That worries me because it'll be CD11 already by then. I just hope it's not too late for my dr. to work her magic on me!
I take my last dose of Femara tonight and so far so good, no headaches. Yay!
Lindzee, I hope you O too this cycle! Have you thought any about trying vaginal temping??

Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Emma! My dr. has been such a positive influence on me I don't think anyone else could live up to my expectations! Someone else told me that since I didn't feel a mental/emotional connection with this dr. and his treatment, it's best I'm not seeing him again. Negative vibes and all, you know?
I was thinking earlier today about the "I" word, which I despise. Think about the "I" word for men....impotence. They seem to hate it so much that they created a new phrase for it, "erectile dysfunction" and even shortened that to ED -- you know guys and their weiners, they're sensitive about their stuff! Can't even say the word. So why is ok for a man to throw around the female "I" word? Grrrr. Pet peeve of mine, I guess. I have fertility issues; I am not infertile.
Oh, my dr. took a week's vacation because it's her birthday. I'll give her that. Shame on me for not scheduling my cycle around her vacation!

No Beth, you're not infertile!! What an arse! Not what you need at all, such negativity. I thought they were there to help people...
