My friend and her hubby have been trying to get pregnant for a while now, but no success. She's at the point where she wants them to both get tested and everything, but he's resistant and stubborn(story for later). Anyway, she's been doing lots of reading and researching to help get pregnant. And lo and behold came across an article about ky. The article says that ky does something to the sperm to keep them from swimming to the target. Needless to say, they use ky all the time, and now she's ...

OK, so I am a bit worried. I mentioned this on another forum that we are all familiar with, but I am not sure if anyone caught it.

I happened to be ovulating on my anniversary, and we use the natural family planning method, and normally I refrain from sex on my fertile days, but it's kind of hard to do that on your anniversary.

So I am feeling really nauseous and tired today, I am quite worried that I may indeed be in the Two week wait now, oops.

So I should start my period within ...

While I'm not ttc yet, we did mess around BIG time around ovulation days.

We even orgasmed together (YAY) which they say makes for easier transportation of sperm.

So now I suppose I could be pregnant.

Supposing that is already driving me crazy ofcourse. :pale: :pale:

How to track O:

BBT: basal body temp is the most accurate way to track your ovulation. They do sell BBT thermometers, but any digital or mercury will work. Do not trust ear thermometers – they can vary as much as 4 degrees – totally unreliable. Try to take your temp after 4 consecutive hours of sleep. Take it before you get up or really move at all. Basically, try to keep your heart rate from increasing at all – increased heart rate = increased temps. If you never get 4 hours of sleep, or ...

Interesting article I found yesterday (10/09):-

Scientists claim they have made a breakthrough which could prevent a third of all unexplained miscarriages.

Researchers have found a link between excess blood supply and the failure of the foetus to implant in the womb.

They are now looking at ways of using steroid drugs to reduce the cells which cause this.

Around 9,000 unexplained miscarriages occur in the UK alone each year and a third of these are thought to be due to excess ...
