I'm bleeding
Not very subtle, I know. But, I am bleeding. Not very heavily, but enough to freak me out at first. I'll be monitoring it to see if it increases. So, heads up, I might be having a miscarriage as I type.

Re: I'm bleeding
ty nika. But you know what? I haven't been nauseous or even felt prego in a couple days. I've felt "normal" for lack of a better word. I pray all is well.

I don't want this to come across as insensitive but is it brown blood? red blood? pink blood? just blood or any clots? sorry for so many questions but bleeding/spotting is so common in the early weeks of pregnancy commonly caused by implantation or around the time your period have been due. Just try to rest up as much as you honey, hoping it's a scare and nothing else {{hugs}} x x x

Re: I'm bleeding
Thanks for all of the support ladies.
The blood was bright red. It came so suddenly, that it freaked me out. But, it never came back again. I read online that pelvic exams can cause it, so for now, that's what I'm putting in my mind. The oncall doctor told me that she because I was just there on Wednesday and was checked out, that she thinks everything is fine, but if the bleeding got/gets worse to go to the ER. I am still a bit worried, but not freaked out/shocked like yesterday. The thing is, it's never happened with either of the girls before, so I was so unprepared for it. I still don't feel nauseous or any other "pregnant" feeling. Hey, maybe I'm having a boy, and that's why things are different(I can hope, right). Either way, I want to thank you all for your support and advice.

Re: I'm bleeding
Cherry,
Just wanted to say that I am thinking of you and hoping that everything is all right with your little bean. Stick bean, stick!! I really hope the bleeding was from the pelvic exam. I had some bleeding after my internal ultrasound before, so it can happen. Take care and rest up!!

Re: I'm bleeding
Mscherry, many members will remember that the exact same thing happened to me when I was pregnant with Theo, I had brown bleeding at exactly 5 weeks but at 6 weeks I was at work and felt this awful gush of wetness down below I went to the loo thinking I had maybe pee'd myself a little??
but I was stunned when I saw loads of bright red blood
- with mucus, I freaked out after experiencing an early miscarriage only 2 cycles before, I was told that the likelyhood was I was miscarrying but I could go for an emergency scan on the Monday (this was Friday) but meanwhile all I could do was rest. I didn't have anymore bleeding after that one episode and I was relieved to be told that everything was fine at my scan on the Monday, at the time they found no cause for the bleeding. It's weird but just one of those thing's, Tiff experienced bleeding slightly later on than me with LM and again everything was fine. My thoughts are with you and your bean!! x

Re: I'm bleeding
Ty. It's nice to hear positive outcomes. I am experiencing dark spotting today, and I am cramping some. At this point, I don't know what to think. I'm trying really hard to keep positive thoughts, but those disgusting negative ones keep popping up in there. I am now in the bed, where I am going to stay until I am hungry or have to use the bathroom. I will keep you updated.

Re: I'm bleeding
Oh no, mscherry. Sorry you are bleeding again. Hoping still for a sticky bean. I think resting would be a great idea. And just try to stay as positive as you can, hun. I know it is soooo hard. Big hugs (((mscherry)))

Re: I'm bleeding
cramps at a sporadic minimum pain level. no more dark blood either. i don't know if everything stopped because i laid down, but i know that realistically, I cannot just lay around for the next 9 months. I'm definitely calling my dr on Monday though.

Re: I'm bleeding
I promised to keep you all updated. It started again. No cramps, but the bleeding is back. It's funny, cause it's not bright red, or dark, but somewhere in the middle. I know they say that every pregnancy is different, but sheez, this is totally unchartered waters for me. I am not claiming a miscarriage, so this bleeding/cramping whatever it is, needs to stop so that I get on with just being fat and preggo!!!
