the pain in my pelvis not as bad on the right side but cant put no weight on left n stitches hurting dont seem like its normal i seen ppl fine by end of second week well better than i feel lol, its like i can feel every stitch im swollen cant close legs. dont want seem like im whining but it been 2 weeks thought pain would let off and im out of pain killers now too lol

vaginal stitches?? they shouldnt be that painful after two weeks... i would call your dr... mine have always been fine by a few days to a week, i had stitches with both my daughters. if its a c-sec recovery i cant comment, never had that.

Hun,I am gonna move this to the pregnancy thread,might get more attention! Hope you feel better,I would go and get checked out.Sounds like it MIGHT be infected if it hurts that bad!Don't worry though,they can fix it! x

i have 14 vaginal stitches, i was putting it down to having so many, would it be expensive for me to go to the health department? i didnt have pay during pregnancy cus im down as not working (i get paid cash in hand/under the table) Confused

if you had medicaid when you were pregnant it should cover you fully until you have your post partum check up, so you should be able to go to the dr to get your stitches looked at for free. if it wasnt medicaid then i have no clue, but i think it would be smart to have them checked, they really shouldnt be that painful after two weeks from my experience. plus that just sucks for you, you should be enjoying your baby, not in pain from having her still!

hey i went the clinic yesterday they gave me more pills what i refuse take while breast feeding oxigoden is not safe for a baby i dont care what they say lol but they gave me ice packs to put in my underwear they said no infection my virginal wall was apparently too narrow and the pain is due to the extent of the tears and amount of stitches and my pelvis being bruised but at lest no infection and because i went health department was on a sliding fee so i didnt have pay anything

thank goodness! thats great to hear there is no infection, im sorry your still in so much pain but im sure its a relief to know you are healing properly. just be careful if your not going to take the antibiotics they gave you.

they didn't give me antibiotics, oxycodone is in a class of drugs called narcotic thats why i dont feel safe BF and taking them.
