Just have to share this sweetness...

Since I am complaining more often than not.Just to clarify.My hubby,although very loving and affectionate,it not the type to gush and volunteer compliemtns.at least not as much as he used to.So I was stunned and blown away by this lovely text I just got. (He left for the week to stay in charlotte,HOtel,and before he goes on a sunday,I always wash,dry and pack his case)

"thanks for getting my clothes together and cleaned,you take such good care of me Love you ,nightnight xxxxx"

How sweet is that and how lovely and appreciated do I feel just from a simple text! I am going to bed smiling inside!

Isn't it funny how one little bit of appreciation can go such a long way? Just a simple text can totally make your day. I am very happy for you that he took the time to tell you that. It is a difficult time on all of you, and it is nice he noticed all your extra effort to help make his tranisitions smooth every week. I bet you will be so happy to have this period done with once you move.

dude,I am surprised and yet,delighted to report that the texts are still coming every evening...last night he told me and I am SO much more than a wife,I am a true soul mate and that words cannot describe how much I rock!" and a couple more like that! I am thrilled.I even asked him if he'd read something,he said no,he was just unpacking his clothes the other night and saw how neatly they were folded,how good they smelled and overwelamed with appreciation!Thats fine with me! loving it and telling him so!

I honestly think the distance helps us both appreciate each other.as the weeks go by that we spean apart,each weekend seems to get sweeter.Of course it could also be the combination of that and the fact that ne now has a well paying job and things are starting to fall into place for us and it eases up the presure,I guess it's hard for men to feel romantic and sweet when they are so stressed and pressured.Anyway,we had another lovely weekend.Filled with hugs,kisses n sweet words,as quickly as it went by it was still lovely!
