We are getting hitched! We've picked March 13th, 2010.

Here's a few things to start you off.
We're inviting about 70 guests. (So much for my under 50 wedding )

We're getting married here: http://gb.sydney.com/town/Dunoon/Rocky_Creek_Dam/info.aspx assuming it doesn't rain of course If it does rain I have no idea what to do

The reception is at the local Workers Club

This is the cake I have picked but I think we'll get 3 layers instead of 2 so we can feed everyone. We'll be having the same colours, even though my dad says chocolate isn't a wedding colour.



This is what I want my boquet to look like, just without the jewels
The BM's will have white roses with the green vines around the outside.

I had my jewellery it handmade by this lady http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5934977&order=&section_id=&page=1 but due to photobucket being down, I can't show you the necklaces and earrings yet. This is my clip and the BM's pins:

Here is a picture of my dress and the BM dresses on the models. The BM dresses have been made in fushia and will have either a black or white sash. I haven't decided yet.


Thats it so far. I have my dress but i'm not showing it to anyone until the day, I don't want to spoil the surprise.

Only 8.5 months to go!!

Thanks ladies, i'm pretty excited about it myself.

I am a pink fenatic. Nearly everything in my life is pink somehow.

I will keep you updated as things progress. I am off to a bridal expo on Sunday and am hoping to pick up some bargains or win prizes. Will let you know how I go!

I love that you've settled on all of your wedding details already. We're getting married on July 11,2010, and so far all I know for sure is my dress, the flower girl/jr bride dress, and wedding location. I haven't even bought anything yet. Did you set deadlines to help keep you on task? I love your color scheme, and also that cake looks scrumpcious(sp?)!!

I have changed the theme colours to pink, black and white. After going to the wedding decorators last week, we decided that white chair covers with pink sashes and black table runners would look fantastic.
Thie means the BM's will be having black sashes around their waste rather than the white and they will also be wearing black shoes.

I got a quote from the florist on Wed as well, for 1 bridal posy of 20 roses, 4 BM posy's of 15 roses (medium pink, light pink and white roses), 7 buttonholes, 2 corsages, 1 FG posy and 1 FG basket of petals, it all came to $643 AUD. Im going to keep looking around but at least not I have a figure to base my other quotes on.

I've also emailed the DJ, i'm going to book him this week. Im waiting on the local council to call me back regarding having the ceremony on their property.
My sister is buying my veil. I want it made of pure silk or something very similar. So far the quotes have come back at $350 AUD and $465 AUD.

The ball is starting to roll faster and faster now. My ticker says only 7 months, 3 weeks to go! Already! I swear it said over 1 yr just the other day

My invites are cut ready to be assembled, I really must stop procrastinating about it

I wow I love the colours and everything.. You are going to be one gorgeous bride.. Can't wait to see it all come together... Weddings are so much fun... Maybe more so for everyone but Bride/Groom at times.... lol
