OMIGOSH!!!!!

My DH got to talk to his son over the web camera today on SKYPE for the first time in 9 months. All of the sudden his ex wife started being super nice to him. She refused to show her self on the camera, in fact, she covered it up when she walked by. However... at one point we caught a glimpse of her, and she has either gained a lot of weight, or she is PREGNANT!!! I couldn't make out a distinct baby bump on her, but she was NOTICEABLY heavier than usual, and normally she is pretty average as far as weight goes.

Her EX fiance was there hanging out, and we could hear them arguing in the back ground, I am wondering if they slept together after they broke up and she got pregnant, and now he is stuck with her! LOL. Okay, that's kind of mean, but for whatever reason, since they have been back together, the old EX wife has become a bit more accommodating about phone calls and stuff between my hubby and his son. My husband is glowing today, he is over joyed because of the web cam conversation!

You should have seen my step son. He was so happy, being so cute, cracking jokes to his Daddy. Then out of no where he asked if he could talk to me. I tried to get out of it, because I was afraid that showing myself on the web camera would upset the EX, but I kindly asked her if she was comfortable with me speaking to my step-son, and she said that it was okay. I don't know how long her nice lady kick will last, but we'll take it while we can!!!

Wow, Tiff, that is so wonderful. I know you've had many "issues" with her in the past. Hopefully your DH and his son will be able to enjoy the web cam relationship for a long while.

Its hard to be a stepmom and know where you stand in their lives. And for him to ask for you is very special! I really hope this is the beginning of a new person in her and she realizes what is best for ALL OF YOUR son Smile/happy

Oh Tiff this is wonderful news, I'm so happy for you, DH and your stepson!! LOL at you at your suspicions about the ex, but hey, whatever it takes! Here's to hoping it lasts a LOOONG time Smile/happy

OMG,I just saw this!Tiff I am SOOOOOOOOOO happy for Justin and Brice (and you of course) It's wonderful that she is being 'nice' like you said,lap it up.Just be careful she is not trying to get you to say something and set you up,but otherwise I am So so glad.It really must have made Justin's month! Bless him.I so hope that they will continue and I hope that Brice (is it Bryce? sorry if I spelt it wrong duh!) will keep asking his mum to do the skype thing so that they can see each other (and you regularly) maybe she's realised that it's not fair to keep them from speaking,coz it's not!Anyway...styaing positive!So GREAT!
