Elle Leigh
July 30th 12:29pm via Scheduled csection
19 and 1/4 inches
7.5 lbs
Everything went really smoothly on my end which was a huge relief.
I went into labor I guess sometime the night before so Elle would have come anyway soon enough. There was merconium in the fluids that they said was more than a few hours old so that was one benefit of the csection, she didn't get a chance to inhale it. The cord was also around her neck and she was a bit blue coming out too. So if it wasn't scheduled for when it was I wonder what would have happened. But it all worked out really well and we came home yesterday and am staying in my room for the time being. Emy has been hanging out with my husbands sisters kids while they have been in town and really at this point it hasn't bothered her that I can't really do much with her. She just stops in for hugs and kisses from both of us then goes on her way. Elle is sleeping right now all the time like she should be, I wonder how long it will last. I feel ok as long as I keep up with taking the medicines on time like I should. The cramping was much worse this time around, but it seems to be over now. They told me I would either bleed very little or not at all because they cleaned me out pretty well. I spotted some yesterday and it seems to be done now, so that is a plus.

Re: Elle Leigh
Hey Congratulations,
Your girls are beautiful. I have to agree with everyone pains the second time around are miserable but the good news is that it does get better. Hope you are all adjusting well. I think sometimes I have it down and then something seems to change.
