OMG, I was STUCK!
Don't think this beats Princess Longbottom's mis-matched shoe story, but it's close 2nd place!
I went to BedBath&Beyond at lunch and then decided to go to Burlington Coat Factory for a quick look at stuff. Generally I don't shop there but if I hunt, sometimes I find something good. So I pick out a few skirts to try on.
First one....ohhhhh, just because you can fit into it doesn't mean you should wear it! Second skirt was kind of cute, a dyed black denim-type, and I was contemplating buying it. Tried to unzip it, and the ZIPPER WOULD'T BUDGE! I could only move it a fraction of an inch up and then back down to the same spot. I twisted the skirt around so the zipper was in the front. Nothing. I examined it. Nothing. Can't see a single thing wrong. I try. I try again. I keep trying. Nope, I'm stuck!
Can it go over my head? Who am I kidding? I get it over my boobs with a big of smashing, but that's it. I step outside the dressing room and look for a employee. Nothing.
Back in the dressing room. I try. Nothing. I try. Nothing. Pull off my top and try the over the head thing again. Hope, can't do boobs AND shoulders!
I try to break that damn zipper. Nothing!
I grab my purse and leave the dressing room again (after putting my top back on, of course!) and search until I find an employee. She tries. Nothing. Calls over another lady. Nothing. A third lady shows up. Nothing. Two of them work on it together. Nothing. A fourth lady tries. Nothing! Another lady tries to break the zipper. NOTHING! So fourth lady who seems to be in charge of the others finally goes and gets scissors.
I go back in my dressing room and she cuts me out of the skirt! OMG, can you believe it? I really wasn't embarrased about it though. The zipper was clearly defective in some way. The skirt was not too tight so it's not like that was the problem. But geez.....I didn't think I was every getting out of it!

I read this when you first posted it, but didn't get time to reply, that is totally hilarious, but then again, I'd be soooo embarrassed. I'm glad they didn't make you have to pay for it!
