Well I'm starting tomorrow...
gonna take healthy snack bars into work so that I don't eat the cookies! Or pieces of fruit.
I'd love to lose 1 pound per week, it would be so managable and steady. Fast weight loss isn't good for the body!
Should we try and do set days where we exercise? Or will that be too tricky. I'm flexible (time wise, not body wise lol)

I don't know, Toffee. I am a bit less flexible in that on Tuesdays and Thursdays I am at work from 8-5 and then I come home, spend some time with little Kian and start prepping my courses for the next day. So those days I haven't been able to workout as much last semester. So I am not sure if I'll be working out on those days or not - it's time permitting. :lol:
On another note: are we posting our daily workout sessions and eating successes (can't think of a better word) and then our weekly weigh ins in this thread? Should we decide on a day for a weekly weigh in?

Yeah, when would you like to start? I'm starting tomorrow! I'm going to exercise Monday, Weds and Fridays for upto an hour. An hour being my target, but we'll see at first lol. My hours are all over the place, and cause I only have 20-30 hours per week I'm usually not in til 2pm.

Yeah I am in, doesn't seem I have anything better to do, might as well try and lose a few pounds instead of bits and pieces of my mind...
I am just getting over a cold right now and we are still on holidays, so I think I am going to start Monday... Not too sure how it will go but only time will tell I guess...

So what day is weigh in? I usually do mine on Monday simply because it's incentive to be "good" over the weekend!!!
So maybe on weigh in day (what ever you guys want it to be) We can say +/-, when we worked out, etc and any other accomplishments. Sometimes you don't lose weight buy you didn't eat the brownie! I need someone to pat me on the back when I don't eat the brownie!!
I'm hoping that my goal of keeping my house clean and organized will keep me out of the kitchen. So far it's working.
I got one of my Christmas trees down today instead of eating left over Christmas goodies. (I tossed those goodies today!)

I'm going swimming on Monday with a friend, and then will fill the other 2 hours up with exercise at home.
Youtube has some exercise vids on there I believe, will take a look at them soon! Or I'll download some.

I'm doing well today, I had a healthy lunch, but the trouble is, it wasn't that filling. That's the problem with salads! So I'e had to eat a yoghurt, fruit and a cereal bar to control it. All low calories of course, but grr!
Any ideas of snacks that are healthy, and I can take into work to stop me eating the cookies?
