I gotta do it!!

Post  mscherry42 on Mon Aug 10, 2009 7:22 pm

I suck. I can't remember the date of my last period. Ashamed So, I am going to give myself something to look back at every month. I'm either real late, or am like 24 hours away from it. Either way, I hate that I can't even remember four days of misery that happended a month ago, and every month before that. In a couple of days, I will post my P-Day on here as like a time stamp. Now, I'm going sit on my hands and try not to go and buy a pregnancy test. For those of you who know that I am on the patch. I forgot to fill the stupid thing, then didn't have the money to go and get, then let it sit on the counter for like 3 days. I am back on it now. But, I am not 100% confident that AF will show up. I'm like 80% sure.

Side note. I had a crazy dream last week(I always treat fish dreams with seriousness). I dreamed that DF and I were in our backyard and I saw that my melons were growing nice and big. But come to find out, they were not melons, but were squash. And floating among my squash(which I do not eat, sick ), were lots of dead fish. I immediately called my mom up to tell her the dream and find out its meaning. She didn't know(the nerve of her not to know something!! lol ) So I began searching the internet. This is what I found:

Dead Fish
Dead fish either in their natural habitat or in a market are an omen of disappointment or discouragement
Melons
To see them growing on green vines, denotes that present troubles will result in good fortune for you
Squash
If one dreamt there was a squash or pumpkin grown in his house in its season means his dignity and blessing will increase
Squash or pumpkin may also mean :1- dignity and rank 2- money and blessing 3- discipline in the affairs

Angel,
I tried but it's too faint and the camera wouldn't focus good enough to get a picture that you could see it. After about like 20 minutes, it seemed to start fading away. I didn't know they did that. So, maybe I didn't see anything after all. But, I did go to the store and buy another test for in the morning. So, we'll see. Now that there is a sort of possibility, I keep thinking about coincidences over the past week-dreams, tingly boobies, weird cravings, sudden acne(I just don't really get it), heavier than usual mucus(tmi). Now, I'm not saying that I am, but if I am, things are clearer. Oh, well, we'll see.

I chickened out. I don't want to know right now. I want to take the next few days to either get used to the idea of maybe being pregnant with baby #3 without being married Cry , or get my period and not waste a test. I will keep you ladies. And who knows, I might start going crazy with the not knowing and test anyway.

holy crap cherry how did i not see this yesterday?!?!! and how dare you not retest?!?!? (LMAO, just kidding hun)

i really hope you get the answer you want, i really do (AND PUT THE DAMN PATCH ON AT THE RIGHT TIME IF YOUR NOT! sheesh lol!!).

and just keep in mind that just cause your not married right now doesnt mean anything. you can get married before the baby would be born or you can not and everyone can get the hell over it. i told EVERYONE after i had kaydance i would be married before i had another baby (i hate how here in NC they stamp the babies birth certificates "born out of wedlock" in bold lettering, like it matters ARGH! but thats a seperate rant lol) and that totally didnt happen lol. not unless we head to the courthouse like NOW lol.

im rooting for you hun, whichever way it goes.

Re: I gotta do it!!

Post  mscherry42 on Tue Aug 11, 2009 10:30 am

I'm sitting here feeling nauseas. But, I really think it'sjust stress of not knowing. I keep pulling up my calendar hoping some date will jog a memory of at least one day of my hopeful period last month. But, nothing comes to mind. I can't believe I was that lax about not being protected when I look back at BDing. And the crazy part is, DF doesn't even know I'm so stessed about it. I guess I don't want to get his hopes up, cause he's been wanting to TTC for months. I keep wanting to call my mom and ask her advice/opinion, but I'm scared crapless I'll hear disapproval in her voice, not that she'll be mad or anything. I just don't know how I feel about the possibility. I had a miscarriage back in 2006 at 19 weeks. If I hadn't had that miscarriage, Jayden wouldn't be here, and there is no way I can picture her not being in our lives. It just feels like she is suppose to be here(might sound dumb, IDK). And now, although our situation is not "ideal", I can't help but wonder if God has seen fit to do it this way, instead of MY way. Oh, well, I guess I'll just stop worrying unnecessarily. For those of you who have two kids(I know, I do two, but I am not in tune with my body, so I'm not reliable). But, did yo feel pregnant before you got a BFP?

Girl, I just knew I was preggo before my BFP. Peeing a lot, weird pulling pain in my ovary area, and light cramping.

I am excited for you. I hope you get the result you want, I know an unplanned pregnancy is always a shock, but I know you guys will be happy and make the best of it Smile/happy

Looking forward to hearing your news.

I've always found that First Response is the best pregnancy test. Clearblue gave me a negative when I really was pregnant. First Response always works best for me, and I like you (not sure what brand of test you used though), thought I saw a line on the First Response, and then a few days later it was very dark.

Yeah, I knew I was pregnant before I took the test too. I had a weird breakout with both pregnancies and I just...... well, I just KNEW. I can't really explain it.

How long do you think you will wait to test?

Also, I didn't realize you lost a baby at 19 weeks. I am sorry for your loss.

Re: I gotta do it!!

Post  mscherry42 on Fri Aug 14, 2009 1:12 pm

Well,
I tested last night, and it was negative. I used the Early Response digital one. Still no period though. Don't know if I tested a little early or what(since I have no dates to really know what's early). Here's the deal. We went to a water park on July 23rd. So, I know that I would have had to have finished my period by then. And by today's date, and knowing my periods are like 28-30 days apart, I do not have a big window left to get my period in the next few days. July 15th is the earliest I could have had my period, I think and still be normal and on time. Granted, I don't know if maybe I'm messed up cause I just the patch in between cycles, or what, but ...TMI coming, sometimes when I wipe, I see faint(very faint) pink, but no period. I really don't know what's going on with my body. I feel like 92% sure that I'm not pregnant, but that 8% is really eating me up. Please help!!!

Re: I gotta do it!!

Post  sapphire on Fri Aug 14, 2009 3:20 pm

I totally missed this whole post until today, sorry hon! I do hope you get the result that you want and that you have a clear answer SOON so you don't have to wonder anymore! Good luck and of course keep us posted.

I've heard that some of the digitals aren't as sensitive as other tests - was it one that definitely said you can test 4 or 5 days early?

Oh, and I wanted to ask about your fish dreams. Do you mind me asking what they normally mean or why you take them so seriously? My DH's aunt dreams about fish when someone she knows is pregnant, often before they even know it themselves! She's never been wrong. With my first pregnancy (she told me this much later) she had a dream where she saw two dead fish. Turned out that me and someone else she knew got pregnant at the same time, and we both miscarried. When her son's fiancee was pregnant, she dreamt of a HUGE fish that was right in her face, so she knew it was someone really close to her. I know she had a fish dream with this pregnancy too but she refuses to tell me details ... seems she keeps those to herself until much later on!

Re: I gotta do it!!

Post  mscherry42 on Fri Aug 14, 2009 3:34 pm

I think it did say I could test early, but I'm not sure. Either way, DF and I talked about the possibility. And he told me that if I were to fall preggo, then we would just go somewhere and get married. Not the courthouse here, but like Las Vegas, or Miami or somewhere. So, after that convo, he came back today and had me look up the Chinese Gender Calendar to see about predicting the sex(he wants a boy soooo bad). So, even if I'm not pregnant, I think we're going to TTC now. Go figure. But, I just want to be married before number 3 gets here. And we would end up saving money on a big wedding. So, while I do not think I am pregnant, I think I've latched on to the idea of another baby, and want to try.
