Was not/am not ttc, but alm BD'ing unsafely
I forgot to get my prescription filled to start my next box of patches after my week off. So, I was like 3 days late putting one on. And we've been DTD ever since, but he doesn't know that.
Am I ready for another one, no, but would welcome the next bundle of joy, IF that happened. I just do not think I am THAT fertile to get pregnant that fast(me rationalizing). But, that's my update. I am going to try and forget about that fact that I might be/could get pregnant during the next 2 weeks. But, my question is when a person is on the patch, we do not ovulate, but if we are late changing a patch, if there a chance that I could ovulate after all? I am so dumb with my body.

mscherry, I'm not an expert so this is only my opinion, but I think your chances at being/getting pregnant are pretty slim. Nothing much happens in those first 3 days to develop what will become an egg, and then you slapped on that patch anyway. I just don't see it happening. Second patch went on on time, right?

it's not time to change the patch with the second one yet. I just know that the package says to use a second method of contraception for two weeks, but I don't want him to know I messed up again. I keep forgetting about the patch. Our schedules are crazy, so it's not like we'll be BD'ing like rabbits for the next two weeks. Like I said, if something oopsie! happens between now and then, well, it would mean it was meant to happen, because I just don't see me being lucky/unlucky(depending how he would take the news) enough to get pregnant. Thanks for your response.
