we got robed :(

I was in my bed room all day with baby till around 3pm when i went put pumped milk in the fridge and on the way back i noticed my room mates tv was not there , but he went drill so i thought maybe the got a bs day n he took it i text my hubby asking about it he said he didn't know i came bk in bed room and room mate comes home turns out 2 men broke in his bed room window broke the screen then shimmyed his bed room window open took a 32 flat screen xbox 360 awhole lot of pills he got from VA pom pilot gps video games 3 check books and more and i didnt hear a thing scares the hell out of me that 2 men broke in ur house n i didnt hear a thing worst thing about it is we dont have ppl come in our house and it must have been someone who lives in the apartment complex who in the 1 in a blue moon chance that my room mate opened his window seen what he had because we never open blinds with us being on first floor :angry:

OMG. It's a good thing you didn't hear anything, and they didn't know you were home. Did your roommate have renter's insurance? That just scares the crap out of me just thinking about it.

yea he has insurance thank god, my husband glad i didnt hear anything but ppl above us r loud all the time so i could have mistaken them for the ppl braking in but hubby n room mate said we moving now going buy out our lese cus we just renewed it end of aug, just worrys me that someone was in my home and i didnt know

im mad now because the cops seem to be looking at me for it as if i was involved because i didn't hear nothing in the next room, i had like 9 hrs sleep since giving birth never more than a hour straight and tv was on and i was with her with my door shut im tired and why would i rob from my own house when if im broke all i would have do is ask our room mate loan me money and he would with out hesitation

Don't be too mad. So many people have tried running scams that cops that to investigate that route in a situation like yours. Just remember that they're doing their standard job, and that they will follow all leads. And, girl, get some sleep(as if you can).

i should be able get more sleep after today hubby had drill this week end (military stuff) so that's why i have not had chance sleep cus he had be up 5am but he told me pump milk n he will feed her at night so i can get sleep 4-6 hrs sleep hopefully lol , but yea i know they just doing these jobs thats why i wasn't disrespectful to them but still shocked me that they said that
