MSCherry, just to let you know I am thinking of you hun! Holi is right though, you do need to see someone to have a scan not just to see if you are miscarrying but also rule out an ectopic. If the bleeding is heavy then get to see someone right away as I wouldn't want you to end up having a haemmorhage. I know like Holi said there is no urgency as there is nothing they can do to stop it but a miscarriage should still be treated as an emergency as it does have it's own complications. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but I just don't want you to be at home suffering without treatment. But then, it may just be nothing, like Georgi said, lots of people have a small bleed early on and still have a healthy baby!

Today is a great day. I feel like a healthy preggo woman again. No bleeding, no cramping, sore boobies, no morning sickness. I just ate peaches n cream oatmeal and two slices of toast, and feel ready to get through another 12 hour work day!!! God is Great!!!!

Glad you are feeling so much better today Ms. Cherry! I agree with Angel, keep taking it easy! Are you going to still book an appointment with your doc to try and get an early u/s in? Keep sticking in there little Bean!!!

I called my dr's office this and am waiting on the nurse to return my call. We'll see what they say when they call back.

Well, they called back. The verdict is in, I have a UTI, LOL. They're not worried about my symptoms right now, but she said that if they return to call them back. They're calling in my prescription for the UTI meds. She also confirmed the (lol). And that's all folks.

Cherry, I am really glad to hear that you are okay and the bean is sticking too! Must have been quite the scare but I'm so glad to hear that the bleeding/cramping has eased up now.

I am a bit confused though, surely they don't mean that a UTI was the cause of the bleeding? And are they diagnosing the UTI over the phone? I always thought they needed to test your urine before prescribing anything to ensure that you really do have an infection.

No sapphire, they called me on Friday, but I missed their call. I found out today that they were calling to tell me that the urine sample they collected last Wednesday confirmed that I have a UTI. She did say that the UTI could have caused the cramping. I am suppose to call them back if I start experiencing any of my scary symptoms again. But wouldnt' that be funny if they did diagnose me over the phone just from me telling them what I thought was wrong. I would switch to another doctor so fast.

Ok so it sucks having a UTI but it's really good news that is the cause of the cramping. I used to (touch wood) get cystitis on a regular basis and sometimes it was so bad I would have flu symptoms, cramping and pass blood when I pee'd so a UTI can cause bleeding however in your case I am certain that your bleed was caused by implantation for the record I read somewhere above you said you never had IB with the girls maybe this is a boy!? but seriously I haven't had any scary bleeds this time around but I have experienced pink spotting here and there throughout my pregnancy caused by.....don't know!! but it goes to show that every pregnancy is different! Keep resting up as much as you can sweetie and drink lots of fluids, maybe start drinking a glass of cranberry juice a day to avoid getting a UTI again. x x So plsd to hear all is well. x

It started again, with a bit of cramping too. Don't be too alarmed and worried, but I'm tired of the not knowing. So, they're going to do an ultrasound in the morning at 9:20 and I will see the dr at 10. At least I'll know something more accurate than phone diagnosis. And I won't have to sit in an ER for 3 hours. I will let you all know in the morning.

Update!!
Baby's fine and I'm fine. The dr is convinced that the exam last Wednesday caused the bleeding. There is no blood anywhere close to baby. He said my chances of miscarriage are that of any other pregnant woman, and said that it's very low. They changed my due date to 5/26/2010, so I suppose we can change that, although he/she won't go that far though(watch he/she makes me out to be a liar). So, thank you all for being here for me in my moment of panic/worry.

cherry, ive been following this thread closely just havent had much time to post, but i want to say how thrilled i am that it seems everything is going to be ok. thank goodness! i know you are relieved (as much as you can be before the "safety at 12 weeks" anyways lol) but just wanted to comment how happy i am for you!

I'm so pleased you are ok and all is well !!!! And secondly CONGRATS !!! I didn't know you were preggy !!!!
