Boy or girl for skyllar??

I am 20 weeks today and have my big u/s this Thursday at 20 weeks 4 days. I am so looking forward to finding out what this baby is. What do you think?

Pregnant with Kian:
- some nausea, no vomiting (really only weeks 6-8)
- lost a couple pounds in the beginning, then put on weight quickly
- always warm, lots of hot flashes
- craved healthy stuff, fruit, veggies etc.

Pregnant with #2:
- more nausea, no vomiting (until week 15)
- lost 15 pounds in the beginning, I gained 5 back so far
- always freezing
- same cravings, fruits, veggies etc.

LOL, Sparkles. That's too funny. Yes, just 4:40pm here on Wednesday afternoon, hehehe.

My appointment is tomorrow morning at 8:15am, then I have a regular dr.'s appointment right afterwards and hopefully before my meeting at the university I will be able to update you all. I can barely wait....

And yes, I noticed that all votes are for a girl. Maybe I'll prove you all wrong....

So what did you find out???? I'm anxious to hear if you'll have a precious little girl or a second wonderful little boy!

Scan went fine. Baby is measuring in 45th percentile, about 13 ounces and everything looks healthy.

I guess, I am here to prove you and me ALL wrong, lol. Our little baby is another boy!!

I was really disappointed when we had the scan and was crying on and off yesterday (thanks to my lovely pregnancy hormones and just being so overworked). Feeling much better today though and starting to feel excited about having another boy.

oh hun how wonderful!!!! soooo sorry that we got you all hyped up for a girl though now i feel terrible!!! so glad to hear that *hes* good and healthy though!!!!! congrats!!! (and think about all the money you will save on clothes!! hahahaha)

Awwwww, I'm so sorry too that we contributed to the hype and that you felt disappointed. Two little boys will be great though -- they'll be best buds growing up! Congrats on TEAM BLUE!

congrats sweety!Sorry you were dissapointed! You will love having another little man and I am sure they wil be great friends.Nika is right too,you will have a lot less stuff to buy and now you can think of some alternative 'boy' colours for this little one big hugs and congrats!

Awww, thanks guys. That means a lot to me. It is SOOOO not anybody's fault that I was hoping for a girl, lol. I grew up with two brothers and my cousins all have sons, so I was just hoping for a little pink in the family, lol.

But, I am sure Kian and his little brother will be the best of friends and will have so much fun together. Hey, and I will be the lone princess in a household full of guys, lol. Plus, I really don't have to buy anything much for the baby (we have sooo many clothes - with all the boys in the family). I am looking forward to buying a few things though: a nice double stroller for the boys (well, the little ones) and a toddler bed for Kian.

Dang, I totally missed this thread. I kept looking in the pregnancy thread and saw no updates. Now I know why. Congrats!!! I think the initial shock and being upset will wear off in a bit and you will feel better about it. I know with emy I was so convinced it was a boy that it took about two days for it to sink in.

Congratulations hun!! You are having another boy YAY that's great!!! I know you are a little disappointed, but Bear (Tan) on awh has 2 boys and is soo happy with them and also 2 other ladies on awh have had 2 girls and they were first disappointed, because they wanted their second to be a boy, but now are happy to have 2 girls. I'm sure you'll be greatful that they will have each other close in age and be friends and like the same things. Also you'll save sooo much with using up the clothes you have for Kian. You are so lucky to have 2 boys hun and I know how much you wanted a girl and that's when you can look into maybe having a 3rd, but working at it like Georgi wanted to to make sure she had a girl Anyways hun, sorry I missed this, I also thought you were having a girl. Awwww another boy, YAY!!!

Congratulations on the boy. I am sure it was a surprise. I actually have had so many dreams that I am having a boy and everyone thinks it will be a boy (we are not finding out until d day) that if this little one comes out a girl I would honestly be in complete shock. I don't think this is our last so I think that is why I am ok with it going either way otherwise I would want some pink.
