Seriously, what are the odds? Empty Seriously, what are the odds?

OK. So, last week (June 2nd) I realized I forgot to get my birth control refilled. The next afternoon I went and had the Rx refilled and took my pill.
I realized later in the week that I somehow missed ANOTHER pill!!!!

I went online and of course it says if you miss pills the first week you should use backup birth control.

Well, we DTD on the 5th and ever since then I've been really crampy. I am on Loestrin FE so I don't have a period. I haven't had cramps of any kind in over 18 months. So now my question is when should I test? If missing those pills threw me into ovulation then waiting till the end of the pill packet may not be necassary and since I don't have periods on this pill I won't be able to tell by a missed period either. Should I wait till the end of the month or test sometime next week?

Am I stressing for no real reason or is there serious concern here?!

Lou Lou if you DTD on the 5th and you ovulated around that time lets say up to 3 days before or 3 days after..... I think you should test somewhere around the 18th-20th. You could use First Response, I got my BFP about 10 days after I ovulated I believe.

Also I bought some dollar store tests, and they totally worked after I had technically "missed" a period. But since you don't have periods, that would be difficult to judge. So I think that the window of time I mentioned above would be the earliest you could test and know for sure.

Let us know what happens honey!

thanks for responding.
I had pretty much decided to test on the 20th. I got postives with both of my pregnancies at 10dpo so I figured that would pretty accurate. I'm not sure what to think. With my other pregnancies I had a feeling really early on that I was (like maybe 8dpo) other than still cramping I'm not sure. I guess the crampiness could just be from getting off track and maybe I never did ovulate.

Only time will tell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can tell you that whenever I missed pills in the past, I always had cramps for the following weeks. I don't know if it was my body trying to ovulate or what but I know it used to hurt! lol!

I would have thought a test 3 weeks after your last missed pill would be accurate? The reason being is, if it says you need to take precautions for a week after your missed pill that makes me think you can ovulate any time during that following week. Say it happened right at the end of that week, you would then wait the *normal* 14 days as in any other 2WW. Make sense?
