Well I am off to FL in the morning to see my grandparents Smile/happy

I hope we have a good trip! I am wondering how i will hide my boobs all trip when Mr. Thane is just going for them all the time! Smile/happy

Blaine has strep and he was here last night. well, i am horrified of thane getting it while we are gone. i am a strep carrier so i was hoping maybe thane has gotten some immunities from it from me???? anyone know?

this is funny too, ray was talking tothe doc about thane getting strep and he told the doc i was still nursing him so maybe that would help and the doc was like NO! She shouldn't be nursing at 15 months...he needs solid food! Ray was like, yeah, he eats like we do but he also nurses! I just thought that was funny lol

Ginny - I am sorry, I won't be any help - I don't know if you give those immunities on to Thane. No idea! Have a good trip, though. Hopefully nobody will be too mean about the breastfeeding. Interesting how it always seems to become anybody's business..... Intersting about your ped, too; cause mine (she is a little crunchy, LOL) said at the 1 year appointment that she would like me ideally to continue nursing until he is two (and she is not a all into introducing cow's milk - weird). ANyway, I am still going strong as well and I can't see Kian wanting to wean very soon. Have a wonderful trip!!! Smile/happy

Well done to all of you, that really is commendable! Breast feeding was exhausting for me! I loved all eight months but it really drained me of my energy!

I'm nursing successfully the 2nd time around YAY!!! It's been going great, I also just bought a Moby wrap and hope to get it mastered with nursing too, hehe! I did attempt it successfully yesterday for the first day trying it Smile/happy

Gutter -- I am glad to hear that nursing Jasper is going well. That Moby wrap looks cute! That's exciting that you were able to nurse him in it! I bought a wrap (just a long cloth actually) while we were in Europe this summer and I love it. It was hard to wrap and knot it properly at first, but it's great - I carried Kian around in it when the stroller was not feasible. I also plan on using it for baby #2 in the future.

I am still nursing Kian is 17 1/2 months old and still going strong. Smile/happy
