Just to let you know that I am in a difficult place right now!

Hi girls,

Please don't think I am doing this for attention at all, I just want to apologise for not being around to post as of late. I was in the emergency department on Wednesday to see the psychiatric team as my pnd has been very bad. I just wanted my life to come to an end. I am doing ok and getting the help I need, but will be away for a while trying to pick myself back up again. Will be checking in every now and then to see how the ttc'ers are doing especially Leeaman.

I'm so sorry to hear you're having a bad time Emma. Sending you big hugs in the hope you will feel better soon once you get the help you need. You are a great mum, so don't ever think otherwise. We're all here for you

(((Big Hugs))) from here. Please let me know if I can do anything at all. It's not you, it's a chemical issue in your body and will be fixed now that you are getting help. I have been there. Please don't feel alone or that we think badly, I am so proud of you for reaching out for the help you needed. I let myself get to the point where I actually saw a film in my head of myself waiting til after the baby was born, then making sure she was safe while ending my life.... that is what drove me to get help....

I am sorry to hear you are feeling so bad hun!I have been there with depression.There is nothing like it and I sincerely hope you are well surrounded at home.Also know that we are here and supportive anytime you need to rant or talk or PM us!You are never alone.I will be thinking of you!Please get well soon!

Hun, I am so sorry you are not doing so well right now and are going through such a rough time in your life right now. Please do not think you are doing this for attention, none of us do and I am just glad you could come to us. If you ever need anything and I mean anything please let me know hun. I am saying prayers for you hun.

I hope you get the help you need from the dr's. Don't be afraid to try meds. I've suffered with depression now for almost 3 years so I know how tough it can be.

Emma, There is a lot of caring and sympathy here. Let me add some joy and encouragement to that as well. My wife and I have been there - it was bad as you can imagine - and we both made it through. The tools available to you now are so far ahead of what was available even fifteen years ago with her depression. And the public is finally recognizing that clinical depression is an equal opportunity illness - it can hit any one of us. Hang on and believe that you are worth it! You've taken the hardest step and you are on the path to getting your life back. So here's a bear hug from the Tonglen guy...

OMG, I just realised now that I posted this thread. I was so low, I couldn't even remember. You guys are so sweet. Don't know what I would do without you. Thanks for all the kind words and support.
