hello from sapphire!
Hi ladies! I heard about this site a few weeks back but life has been so busy that I haven't done any posting anywhere for awhile. Some of you know me, well, as sapphire, from the old site. For those who don't know me, I've been ttc for 2 years, this is cycle #24. Diagnosed through surgery last February with severe endometriosis that had done a real number, including massive ovarians cysts caused by endo and most devastating, severe damage to one tube from the disease.
My little update for today, though, is that despite all these odds and after 2 full years of bad news, doctors visits and more bad news, I have for the first time ever seen that teeny tiny second line ... and I am in total shock. I feel like someone needs to tell me that when there's a + on clearblue, it really does mean I've conceived. I just don't believe it. I've been carrying the test around in my purse and I've looked at it a zillion times. I just don't believe this could happen, it feels too good to be true. I am terrified it's not going to last, but starting to get a little excited too!

Re: hello from sapphire!
Oh my GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
after being sat here for 10 seconds speechless, I can now find the words to say CONGRATULATIONS, I am literally shaking with excitement. This is just amazing news and such a inspiration to others who are , oh Sapphire, I am so thrilled for you from the bottom of my heart babe this is the best news.......OMG!!! I am still stunned and trying to take this news in so I can imagine that you are utterally gob smacked!
I was watching a programme today on Home & Health called Extreme Pregnancies and a lady on there suffered with an extreme case of endo, they told her that her chances of conceiving naturally were basically non-existant BUT she beat all odds and conceived, the weirdest thing is when I was watching it I kept thinking I know someone with suffer endo - I need to tell them this happy story and for the life of me I couldn't think who it was and of course it is you!!
Ok BREATH now Georgi......................!!
I almost forgot to say to PARENTISE please make yourself right at home babe!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: hello from sapphire!
thank you all so much!!! it's good to be here and see so many familiar faces too. It's starting to slowly sink in, though Mel, I do appreciate you reminding me that a + really does mean pregnant b/c I still am having some trouble with it!! I don't feel pregnant.
I'll have to check out this forum a bit more, and I don't want to take over an introduction thread, but where should I post any questions I have? I feel like I have a zillion and don't really know even which things I should worry about now??? Like fish oil supplements I've been taking, are they safe? I was planning to get a flu shot but now don't know that I should? What do's & don't's should I really know about? I don't have a prenatal vitamin yet (I've been on a good multivitamin & extra folic acid for 2 years though, and eat fairly healthy). aaaahhhhh...... and of course I'm terrified it won't stick or it'll be ectopic - just seems too good to be true.
DH is out of town on work so he doesn't know yet! I'm hoping I can hold out til Friday afternoon to tell him in person, I already get choked up at the thought of seeing his reaction since we've been through so much with this. I think I can hold out, especially since I have all you to talk to in the meantime! It also means he took the camera so I can't show you any pics, though I would love to!
thank you so, so, so much again!!

Re: hello from sapphire!
thanks again everyone, this has been wonderful so far to hear from all you and have your advice & support.
In case you haven't seen it, I posted pics of when I told DH in my thread on the pregnancy side ('what do I need to know?' or something like that) and I posted pics of the BFP in the general pregnancy talk thread (all stages of pregnancy or something).
It's great to see you all and meet some new faces too, thank you again for all the congrats and the very warm welcome!
