Dry baby skin Empty Dry baby skin

Well, it has gotten really cold here and we are running the heat more. Even though we have a humidifier in Kian's room, his skin has gotten really really dry. What lotion(s) do you use on your little ones? Which one's do you like? How often do you use them a day?

I haven't really put lotion on Kian much since I was afraid he would have super sensitive skin (my brothers used to have as babies). But his skin has gotten very dry now, so I would like to put some lotion on him. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, ladies!!

i use the Johnsons and Johnsons Lavender bedtime lotion, even if its not bedtime, its soothing and smells great Smile/happy and it does seem to help calm her down a bit like its supposed to, and helps with the dry skin. she started getting patches on her arms and legs when it got cold out here too.

i hope that helps.

oh and if it makes you feel better, she has super sensative skin when she was a newborn, to the point we had to buy Aveno baby body wash and shampoo, but shes fine now, and the lotions and soaps dont mess up her skin anymore!

I like the Aveeno lotion for babies with lavender. It's very soothing, and works great Wink

Ryan has eczema so he has a oil based cream called double base and then he has the hydrocortizone steroid cream.

I am sure you can get E45 cream or Aqueous is another good creamyou can also use the Aqueous cream as a soap as well as a lotion.

Lucy gets Baby Magic lotion morning and night. She smells wonderful! Everyone comments on it. As an added bonus, when I am finished I rub the extra off my hands onto my elbows. They were hard and scaley dry, and they are almost back to normal from the lotion. It cleared up some little skin things Lucy had going on too.
