I found this site particularly useful when I stumbled across it. My friend's 2 year old got vaseline on her carpet, and she didn't know how to get it out. Since many of our kids are hitting the age where they will soon be getting into everything and spilling stuff...... this site is GREAT.

Yes Emma, don't spill curry on there Tongue ,I have a white carpet too,it's so grubby,I gave up trying to clean it even wit out mni steam cleaner, but when I DO use it.I put some diluted bleach on it and thenleave it for 2-3 mins then rinse it off. That seems to wor for mos 'coke' stains or I use some spot cleaner (the spray on ones first).I think the landlord just puts white carpets down so she can get ur deposit,I mean please,2 kids and a white caepet?no way!
