I had it really bad too Helen. I was basically drinking gaviscon by the bottle with little effect and drinking mint tea all day long. The night before my c-section they gave me some ranitidine to take in the morning and it worked wonders, I wish I had have asked my GP for it way back and I wouldn't have had to suffer so much. Maybe you could ask for some.
