my 7 week u/s!

no time to post lol, kaydee JUST woke up from a nap, but heres a pic and ill be back later to tell you about it.

So there was definately only 1 in there then!! Someone on this board HAS to have twins...............maybe me!!

LMAO georgi!! def only one Spot is having twins though!! she just never posts on here, as im sure shes super busy! LOL!

but anyways, i got to see and hear the babys heartbeat!! it was 131 BPM which the tech told me was good, even if it seemed a bit low as its still early and its often slower early on and it was good just to hear it! yay! hehe. umm, other than that she said my dates were right on, im 7 weeks exactly today, but she game me an EDD of Sept 23rd (which is actually right from my O date, on the nose) and my dr said sept 24th (which is on the nose from LMP lol!!) so baby is officially due sept 23rd now. hehehe!!

Oh that's brilliant Nika, the heartrate sound's perfect! So September the 23rd is 'official' wicked!!

thanks hun!! its definately more real now, im super excited. LOL i think charles was expecting the pic to look a bit more like a baby as the first scan with kaydee was at almost 10 weeks and she had arm and leg buds visible, but he was happy to see the pic anyways LOL!

EDITED: I just read my post back to myself and thought **** it's insensitive to sparkles, so I just thought I had better say I am aware it could be seen like that but it's not meant to be at all.

I must admit that when I had a scan at 6 weeks I was surprised just how unlike a baby my baby looked like but I could see the heart as clear as day beating away and that just blew me away. Rich never came with me to that scan but he came along to the other 2 and both times he got all teary!

My best friends 3 year old said- after my best friend explained that my baby was sick and died, she said yeah i know mummy but Annan ( what she calls me) will have twins next time and i want to hug Annan to make her feel better lol it was sooo sweet

Awwwww do you know sparkles I knew deep down that you wouldn't think I was being insensitive because I think you know me well enough by now but other people reading it may have thought otherwise so i thought I had better just make a comment. (enough of that now!!)

My gosh imagine if BOTH of us had twins WOW WEE!! that would be exciting!!

Are there twins in either of your families?

not many recent twins but my grandads mum had 6 sets of twins. honestly i always wanted twin boys but i think i want just one now lol BUT if i have twins i will be very happy xo

Toffee - My Mum was pregnant with twins when she was pregnant with my sister but she lost the other twin early in the pregnancy, also my SIL is pregnant with twin boys, she has been told that as they have their own sacs they are non-identical which is the type of twins that run in families as apposed to identical twins which don't. So I suppose there is a chance as it could be that fraternal twins run in our family on my Mothers side (which makes it more likely) as my brother who is expecting the twins doesn't have the same Dad as me....or it could just be that it's a coincidence!! I can imagine myself with twins though and I keep visualising it!
