**UPDATE ON SAPPHIRE!

YAY!

Great news everyone!!!! Sapphire had a great appointment She saw her little baby's heartbeat (She said it was a good heartbeat), she measures 7 weeks and 5 days, and the baby is 14 mm long

That's wonderful news! Now Sapphire PLEASE allow yourself to relax and enjoy this pregnancy I honestly swear that once you have your baby you WILL miss being pregnant it's an odd feeling but seriously you start to miss your bump and that amazing closeness only you and your baby have, so make the most of this experience!!!! I am thrilled that all is well, almost 8 weeks already WOW!!!!!

I hope you are well. I don't know when my next scan will be, but I see my OB/GYN tomorrow and will ask.

You girls are wonderful thank you all for your support and being there as I've been freaking out the past few weeks!!!

Sorry I didn't get on here yesterday, Monday night was AWFUL as I woke up at 3am, starving and wide awake, and didn't sleep again til the sun came up. Needless to say I stayed home from work yesterday, but I just felt awful all day so I pretty much stayed in bed and didn't come to update! So as you know, my u/s was PERFECT and we have a little baby in the right place with a heartbeat of 160. It was amazing. I had been telling DH for days leading up to the u/s how scared I was, and the best line of the day was when the u/s tech left the room, I looked over at him after we had just seen the baby and he says "okay, I am scared now!" LOL! He's fine, excited and happy but the reality of it is sinking in now for him. We've spent over 2 years coming to terms with fertility challenges and wondering how we'll cope if we never get pregnant. Then from the until now the last miscarriage was right there, still so fresh from a few months ago we were focused on staying cautious and waiting to see if things were okay. Now we've past all that and seen a heartbeat, we're for the first time really thinking about actually having a baby!!!! It's crazy but we're so excited.

Pictures!! Here are the first very photos of Baby M at 7w5d. My due date is Wednesday, December 16! (my little brother has already said he hopes I go late and have the baby on his birthday, Boxing Day! That's not quite my plan but it's really cute he's so excited about his first neice/nephew!)

Ok, I gotta be honest, just looks like a blob to me! I wasn't going to post that, but I then i remembered I think it was on Friends when Rachel got pregnant had a u/s and got all upset because she couldn't see it but kept saying she could....until someone called her on it, lol.

Sapphire it's rare to get to see scan pic's of babies this early but it goes to show how much of a baby shape they have at 7 weeks (hope that makes sense) thanks so much for sharing these very precious pictures. And I totally understand your hubby's comment cos my husband said something simular x x x

i saw on the other thread where u heard the worry never ends...im a firm believer in that but when u love something that much u are bound to worry and its ok

im just so happy you had a great scan and it really does get better (the worry) with every passing day and each scan or dr appt....until they r born anyway

Yes Yes Yes!! I am so excited for you Sapphire! A healthy ultrasound is so awesome, the picture is darling!

Just a recommendation. Have 21 gram protein bars near you all the time. Eat a piece before bed, in the middle of the night if you are hungry, and first thing in the morning. It helps SO MUCH. They saved my life when I was pregnant, because I couldn't stand meat.

OMG, for a second then I panicked when I saw 'update on Sapphire'! It's lovely to see your baby pics at last! How does it feel hun? I bet Clem was in tears!

Mel, you gave me chills (in a good way!!) with your comment, it's amazing. LOL at Beth and the Friends thing!! I know it looks quite blob-ish at this stage. Galaxy, neither of us cried but I would have if I had a moment - the u/s tech found the baby and the h/b right away, and was just so matter of fact, not mean, just to the point. I did feel myself well up but the next moment she was asking me about something else so I didn't have a chance to let the tears out!! Tiff, I might have to try the protein bars. I can eat very small amounts of meat, so long as there's no strong flavours on it, but not much. I have woken up hungry sometimes but it's because I feel too sick to eat very much during the day!! So annoying.
