Extra Tooth! :O

Hey everybody! i am concered cuz thane has like 14 or 16 teeth, he isn't still enough for me to count! And I noticed today that above his "lateral" tooth I think (the 2nd one from the front) he has another tooth a STRAY growing above it!! WTH is that!?!??! HAS anyone else had their baby have an extra baby tooth? I am just a little freaked

I've heard of that before and I don't think it's something to be too concerned about. You may want to call your dentist on Monday just to make sure but I think it's ok since it's just primary teeth.

Thanks Lou Lou! Its just one of those things where its concerning when your child has something "different". But, yes I am definintely taking him to the dentist asap and see what they say! Thanks!

Wow Thane already has that many teeth!!! I think Audrey only has 10.5 teeth....Anyways I do know lots of people who have crowded extra teeth and had to have a few removed, it's not uncommon.

Don't worry hun! It's super common to have an extra tooth. They can easily remove it if you are worried!

Yeah, i don't really know what to think. the lateral incisor is over to the left too far and is smaller than it should be and then that straggler (no name tooth) is showing up high between the front tooth and that lateral one. I am calling the pediatric dentists in our area tomorrow. he also has the frenulum (hangy down thing under his top lip) is too low so its almost between his two front teeth and they are farther spaced because of this. Apparently the frenulum may have to be clipped and i really don't want to see that happen to poor little Thane!

But anyway, its not a HUGE deal, but it still has me worried about him that's my job!
