I need some HELP with my business venture...

Ok some of you may know but this year I qualified as a make-up artist, I would like to specialise in Bridal Makeup. I have been thinking (for a while now) that I should use my maternity leave to set up my business, I am not giving up my current job this new venture would be something I would mainly be doing on a Saturday and it's just putting a hobby into practice and getting some extra money while I am at it.

The first thing I NEED to do is think of a clever name for my business......

my first thoughts were
Beautiful Brides
Creative Faces but both these domain names have been taken.

Can you think of a suitable name?? I am exhausted of trying to think of a name that people will remember and tells them what I am doing in the name!

I need a name so that I can set up a website and then start uploading pictures onto it!

I have decided on Belissima Brides whcih stands for Very Beautiful Brides.

I am currently putting the website together and once I am happy with the way it looks I will share it with you all

All jokes aside have you heard of The Lion Man???? My husband has a obsession with Tigers and Lions for as long as I have known him he has wanted to stroke a Tiger but you can only do this in bangkok at the Tiger Temples however he is really keen to go to NZ and visit Zion Wildlife gardens, he wants to meet the 'Lion Man' Craig Busch although it wouldn't be next year.....as we are supposed to be visiting the states this time next year!!

OMG!!! have you got that tv series over there??? yea he world famous in NZ! lol, he wont let you near a lion i dont think unless you are willing to fork out big dollers! but i know someone who will. I went out with a guy for 3 years and am still very close to his brother he is one of my best mates and has been for 7 years now, well he works at Orana wildlife park in christchurch and he looks after the big cats, he is their main keeper, i know 1 of the lions and one of the tigers are hand rared so its a possibility. he has been working with them for 8 years.
OMG the lion man, haha, OMG, hah too funny i never thort anyone outside of nz would have known about him. He was all over the news a few years ago coz his X and him broke up and she claimed he was abusive blah blah so it made the media!

We watched the Lion Man last night it isn't a huge, huge series overhere but Rich can hunt down any TV programme that has lions or Tigers in it! We started watching it last year and finally the new series is now on TV

Great suggestions ladies, but I have now made a decision and my business is called Belissima Brides which means Very Beautiful Brides in Italian. I am currently designing the website and once it is complete I will let you all take a peek I plan on still working part-time as a Human Resources Assistant, this bridal make-up business, really is my hobby, it's not about making loads of money at all, it's more about making someone feel extra special on their special day. Of course if it became a big hit and I was really busy then I would concentrate on just the make-up business but for now I am quite happy for it to be an occasional thing!

well, I was working full time and planning on the side so when I did a wedding I would be up all night Friday setting up and then gone all day Saturday and then I would have to do the tear down and help with clean up after the wedding. By Sunday morning I would be so run down that I made myself sick a few times. It just became too much work!
So now I only do it for close friends and family. The last one I did was for my SIL and I was a bridesmaid too! THAT was stressful!
It might be something I could do more often now that I am a SAHM.

I can totally understand that, if I was lucky enough to have regular bookings I would consider resigning from my office job to just concentrate on the Bridal Make-up so that I STILL have important 'family' time.

Oh I am most definatley including a gallery of make-overs that I have already done I am almost finished with it, I just need to add a few more pictures and modules and then tidy it up before the big reveal!!!
