Toffee, where are you?
Toffee, been missing you lately! What's going on, girl? I see how it is....move it with the man and leave us hanging! Hope everything is good. Let us know how you're doing.

Re: Toffee, where are you?
Awww thanks ladies :-)
I've just not been posting much really, just lurking! Not much to tell, still working at the haven that is subway lol. I have an interview date for teacher training 2010 (failed to get in last year). It's at the end of November, I really hope this is my last one! got to do a presentation, and being that I want to do religious education with philosphy (and as a vegetarian) I'm going to do it on animal rights hehe. They teach the arguments (religious and non) between the ages 14-16! There are all sorts of interesting topics to teach
Subway is still boring and useless lol. They keep messing me around, I booked next week off a month ago, cause it's Rich's half term week off. So I was really looking forward to it after doing 48 hour weeks. And now they've said I can't, because this student has said she can't work that week, even though she didn't book it off! Luckily I'm getting the weekends off for a change, so it's not all bad, but I just felt that I really needed a weeks rest, especially cause I won't get time off at Christmas (apart from the actual day). We get 24 days off over here, and I've still got 21 to use by April! I'm basically being forced to take it in November.
Also they are disgusting with pay. If you're 18-21 you get £4.83 min wage an hour as sandwich artist, but as team leader £5.60. However, for those 22+ you get min wage of £5.80 and no more for being team leader, even though you do a lot extra work. They truely are scum bags! They trap you though, cause unless you're team leader you can't get the big shifts, so if you want full time you have to take it!
Kittens are little rascals hehe, keeping us awake by running around.
I wish there was more to tell, but there isn't. Rich's parents are definitely divorcing, his mum is dealing with it a lot better now. She's getting there, slowly but surely. We're going to spend Saturday with his Mum.
Sorry for my mini rant (or large) hehe. I've got to go to work now *sigh*
How're you ladies? xxx

Re: Toffee, where are you?
Toffee, I read this when you posted it but didn't reply. My apologies.
Sorry to hear about Rich's parents. I have clients who are getting divorced after over 40yrs (that one's been dragging out for over a year now) and now another set of clients getting divorced after over 50yrs. It's a terrible thing, and unfortunately does seem to divide the adult children. I hope Rich can manage to stay clear, yet remain supportive of both, as much as he can.
You definitely need a change from Subway. I hope the interview in November works out.
