Baby dies after mom tapes pacifier in it's mouth

OMG. This is not something we want to think about, but for mom's who are needing some sleep, crazy thoughts can come into our heads.

I have been trying to think of a way to keep LM's pacifier in her mouth, since she spits it out then wakes and cries for it during the night. I googled "How do I keep my baby's pacifier in?"
I found this article!!! Holy crap. I cracked a joke about taping the pacifier in, but never actually would do it!!!

This is just dreadful, I used to read stories like this before being a Mummy and it would make me shudder but now looking at my little baby and imagining him not being here doesn't bear thinking about.....I bet she has taped that dummy in his mouth more than once but you can only test fate so far!

That's just sick and twisted. How could she possibly think that was a good idea!

OMG that is just so awful, i know there are times you just want some peace but thats taking it to the exteme! I couldnt bear my life without my children, they are my everything, i just am shocked i dont even know what to say, i hope she stays in prison!

I totally hate reading stuff like this, but I really wanted to post it, as I know moms can get overtired and have weird ideas on how to get sleep, without the intent of being abusive. I'll bet this young mom was just wanting some sleep, and was stupid, and didn't think.

I totally agree with you Georgi, now that I have my own child, reading something like this upsets me even more, it breaks my heart.
