Sparkles bundle of joy has arrived!!

I am proud on behalf of Sparkles to announce the arrival of Hudson Chase he was born at 5.40am today (I assume the 15th) 6 hour labour, only 10 minutes of pushing, he is a little bruised.

He weighed......8lbs 9ozs WOW!!!! Mum and baby doing well

Congrats Sparkles! I've been wondering about you since we hadn't heard anything in a day or two. So excited for you and your little man!

Hudson Chase sound's like such a handsome man and I don't doubt at all when he grows up he will live up to my expectation!!!

Hi allThanks for all your lovely wishes and Thanks to georgi for posting my exciting news. We just arrived home yay!!! Hudson is doing very well, has a little jaundice due to all his bruising but not high enough levels to treat.

He was born on the 14th at 5.41 pm , i prob text you the wrong time Georgi hehe

just a quick story

I actually had to be induced as was admitted into hospita on the tuesday with bleeding and they were worried it was my placenta, so they monitered me for 24 hours and ready to rush me in for an emergency ceaser if i had more bleeding but all was good and they just broke my waters as i was 3cm and then gave me the drip to bring on contractions, within 30 mins they were 1 min apart. Just breathed through them and went to my happy place ( thought of Kyrah) , then had the gas and air for a few hours. Then after alot of pain ( and me actually asking hubby for more pain relief- not knowing i was baout to start pushing)hehe i needed to push and 10 mins later he was entering the world, very bruised and blood shot eyes due to the quick entry and pressure, he actually wasnt breathing and had the cord around his necK ( not too tight) there was also a knot in the cord. They have him air and syringed his mouth and about a min later he was screaming ...phew.. meanwhile they were having trouble birthing my placenta andi was bleeding heaps due to low placenta and im saying to my hubby, I cant hear him cring whats wrong? and he is trying to stay calm for me saying he is fine. but he was. Just black and blue with bruising. I however felt pretty goo dna ddidnt need any stitches, whcih shocked me. I was soooo shattered after having Kyrah ( 9 hours and 2.5 hours of pushing with her) but io feel great im not sore anyway ( not even down there) only BAD afterbirth pains!!! So my little man wasnt so little lol 8 pounds 9 we both laughed we couldnt belive it as Kyrah was 6 pound 5 and 1 extra day over due lol
He was 51.5 cm long and is a darling., His face is starting to clear up and not look so bruised now.

So i think thats about it. I will try and post some pics but like i said he is REALLY bruised.
Kyrah loves him and i feel so dam lucky and proud to have my family complete !!!

Awww he is just so PRECIOUS!!!! well done hunny, very proud of you. Yes i agree the afterpains are so horrible 2nd time round, it was what put me off having a 3rd!!! hope all is well and you settle into a new routine fast! sending lots of love your way xoxox

Gosh that was all a bit dramatic in the end.....bless his little heart, I can see that he was a little bruised but it's not surprising really with the fast labour 10 minutes of pushing WOW!!!! Afterpains were AWFUL 2nd time around, I was actually in tears with them!!!! You did so well though honey, he's a healthy weight and you should be really proud, you have the most gorgeous family and you look FANTASTIC as per usual. x x x

Wow, what a birth story. Everything seems to progress so fast! I am glad everything went great!!!! And you are looking fantastic!!!

He's amazingly gorgeous! Great job honey, you did such a good job. I can only dream that labor goes that good for me the second time around!!! Can't wait to see more pics, what a little darling!!

Congrats hun !!!! He looks bless him just like Chloe did when she was born... I too was induced with her and after one lot og gel had to wait the 6 hours ... examind, open enough to break waters so they did and an hour and 18 minutes she was born with only 9 minutes of pushing. .. so she looked very battered and bruised bless her !!! By a week her bruises were gone .... hows his eyes ??? Chloes were very bloodshot for about 6 weeks after due to the pressure of being born so quick.

We are doing great. Hudson is feeding like a champ and sleeping good so far. His bruising is getting better and he is a real darling, chilled out. Kyrah LOVES him and wont stop kissing and cuddling him ( sometimes way too rough )
She is coming into our room at night somtimes ans we are taking her back as she will sit with me and watch me feed him or hear him and sau hello hudson, !st thing in the mornig or after nap itme she says...see Hudson. We have had minor behaviour/jealousy but nothing major ( yet ) lol
I am finding it less stressful with feeding and the whole mum thing as i guess im use to having a baby already, however he is still young so plenty of time for stress lol and hubby is home so makes a difference. Hubby went to the pub for a couple of hours yesterday to "wet" his head lol so i thought gotta try two kids on my own, so i took them to the shops and did some food shopping on my own with Hudson in the baby carrier and Kyrah in the trolley, they were both awesome. We also have been to hubbies rugby and today we took Kyrah to her normal gymnastics class, so its some type of normality for her.
So , so far so good.

I am feeling great. I was very lucky and didnt need stitches again, so i feel "back to normal" so to say and all round like i havent had a baby, which i know how lucky i am for this.

I can't believe I only just saw that you posted pics!! He is beautiful hun,Teo was that color when he came out and his cord was wrapped twice around his neck,so I am sure he will be just fine in a couple more days if he isnt already! It's lovely to see you looking so happy.I remember taking my two out to the shop for the first time and seeing them in the trolley together and feeling like i was going to burst with pride! I am so happy for you! Big hugs and thanks for sharing!
