I just wanted to say......

That I love this community. I am so glad that there is no arguing and negative talk, that we all support one another, and what not. I am grateful to Angel and Georgi for starting it.

ok,I hear you gals.I want no drama here and no negativity at all.I do however have very strong feelings about 'the other site" I do not want to bring this place down or give them any credit by talking about it BUT it's obviously a topic close to our hearts.

Do you think we should leave this thread here to chat about it if need be.Or should we just keep it to ourselves and not go on about it?I am torn as what to do.I want this site to be new,fresh and nothing like or to do with the negativity of the old one.I know I contributed to it recently and for this I am dissapointed in myself.I should have risen above it but I suppose it's just a little too personal for me to butt out completley.Havig said that.I have wasted the last 2 days of my life there that I will never get back.What do you gals think,shall we not mention 'the other' site again or is it 'ok' to have a little chat about it so long as there are no arguments.I mentioned once when I made this site with Georgi that if there was ANY nastiness/negativity it would be deleted without question.There would be no discussion,no explaining,no long drawn out conversations as to weather it or the person was right or wrong,it would just simply not be tollerated.

We want this place to be full of love and support and laughs.I thought perhaps be keeping it small and personal and involving the few of you here in the larger decissions,that perhaps it could be and remain that way.What do you guys think?

Well Angel, in mentioning the other place, I was simply expressing my happiness that this isn't like the other. The drama there has gotten me down. I didn't mean to dreg up bad stuff.

But also, I'm not ready to stop posting there. At least not yet. Most of my TTC friends are here, but there's at least 2 missing, maybe 3. If as a group, we decided to stop posting there and only be here (at least for TTC stuff), I would support that decision.

I think talking about the other place is ok. If we're dissatisfied with the other, it will only reaffirm what we'd like this place to be.

BethG, I am really glad to see you over here. I went over to "the other site" recently with the best of intentions, trying to explain why I don't frequent over there as much, and people just ended up finding a way to argue anyway, and say that I wasn't genuine. This only re-affirmed my decision to be a strong member over here, and I am so glad that the positive people are ending up here.

We welcome you with open arms.

I think it's important to be able to express our feelings - as long as we are not hurtful to others in this community.
I DO think we should try to maybe limit references to that other site especially right now since most of our frustrations are still fresh on our minds.
I don't want to see that type of negativity pop up over here. It wouldn't be fair to people that weren't involved or to new members. We don't run people off for something that didn't even happen over here!

i think its ok to discuss the "other site" as most people who have mentioned it prefer this site anyway! We all feel comfortable talking to each other and in just the last month or so since this place has been created i have got to know a lot of you better than what i did in the 2 years i was with the other place! Here i feel i can go into any part of the boards and post where as on the other site i felt i only belonged in the pregnancy or parenting and if i did post anywhere i felt i got the 'who the hell is that" kinda look!
But since joining this site i have not posted on the other, i didnt have any personal issues as some people may have had, i just want to be where my friends are and support them. I think its fantastic we can all communicate without any offence being taken personally.

So to Holi and Georgi, You are both wonderfeul and beautiful girls and am so happy i have got to know you both! thankyou to you both for setting up this forum, you gals are my online family and i know that by being here i have made some life long friends which i hope oneday we all get to meet! So thanks again! xxxx
