I'm getting glasses :D

I went to the opticians today and I'm getting glasses. I actually want them lol, they are REALLY nice hehe.

I don't desperately need them, but my left eye is slightly short sighted. I nearly failed my second driving test in the first minute lol, from the eye test. So I don't want that to happen again hehe. I failed on something else lol.

i too have had eye problems since i was young, got my glasses when i was 7 and got contacts at 18 and have had them ever since, im seriously thinking of getting lasic eye surgery, i just got a new pair of contacts as they have to be replaced each year and it cost $290 per lens plus $80 for the consultation so it was nearly $700 all up!

Alrite 4 eyes!!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: only kidding, I wear glasses too well actually I wear contact lenses everyday since the age of 18 (same as you Teressa) but glasses are fun sometimes if I wanna look intelligent!!

I wear glasses. I used to wear contacts, but they started irritating my eyes so badly, they swelled shut!!

I really don't mind my glasses, except for when I want to wear earrings or a head band, it just looks weird with the glasses.

I wear glasses too and have since I was 8 years old. And get this, my optimistrist put me in biofocals at age 8! I still wear them, but at 19 switched to progressive lenses (no-line biofocals). A couple of years ago my new optimistrist said she didn't really think I absolutely needed the progressives but said "but you're gonna need them in a couple years when you turn 40." Thanks alot doc. lol.

I have single vision glasses too though for when I'm riding my dirt bike.

They look really cute on you. I don't care what people say, glasses are not for every face. And they were not for me! I started wearing glasses at 12, contacts at 20, and got custom lasik eye surgery(compliments of the US navy) at 24. That was the best thing I got(besides DF) from being in the navy!!

P.S. I'm sure you are anyway, but those glasses really do make you look smart!
