Washing your undies? Empty Washing your undies?

How do you wash and dry your panties and bras?

My nightime cotton panties get washed and dried with everything else.

My bras are machine washed in a lingerie bag but then hung on hangers to dry in the bathroom. The elastic seems to break down more quickly if they're dried in dryer. Every Saturday night hubby will ask, "Will you move your tit slings so I can take a shower?"

I usually wear cotton or nylon thongs but recently bought several pairs of lace boyshort thongs. The regular thongs get machine washed but hung to dry like the bras. The lace boyshort thongs got a bit frayed in the machine, even in the lingerie bag, so now I handwash those and hang to dry.

Am I obsessed with washing underwear??

I'm like you, Nika, I don't look. Everything gets thrown in. I don't even know why I bother separating whites from darks because I don't use bleach on my whites, only on my white dish towels. For everything else, there is shout. DF doesn't dry his jeans or nice shirts, but me, I wash and dry EVERYTHING of mine.

Mine all go into the wash. I suppose since I don't have anything fancy it's not a big deal, and I pretty much only wear sports bras anyway.

I sort my laundry by temperature. Cold wash - special items/delicate stuff/ silks, etc - this gets done maybe once every couple months as I don't have much. More in winter as my sweaters fall into this category though.

Warm wash - jeans/T-shirts/sheets/leggings.
Hot wash - socks, underwear and bras. Things that I feel need to be done in hot water to sterilize them.

I usually do towels separately because of the fuzz they leave.

I chuck everything in together too! I have a couple of bra's that are slightly padded so I don't put these in the dryer, makes them go lumpy, but everything else goes in with my regular clothes!
