This was so funny!!!

OK, I could probably put this in the funny stuff forum, but however, this is just a funny parenting thing that you all will appreciate. My husband was watching a Jessica Simpson and John Mayer spoof and he started laughing really hard at the point where the girl impersonating Jessica Simpson starts totally exaggerating Jessica's stupid facial expressions that she does while she sings!! Well, LM was on his lap, and she just starts crying with a big boo boo lip. Hubby thought he laughed too loud and scared her!

Well he replayed the clip for me so I could see it, and when it got to the part where the girl started making the crazy faces, LM started freaking out and crying again! So it was actually the clip that scared the crap out of her.

We were laughing, but also feeling so bad for her!

Ok, if we're on the subject, I had a similar experience when Rowan was younger. I took her swimming with my mum when she was about 5 months old. Mum offered to mind her while I went for a bit of a swim myself. So.... I donned my swimming hat as usual and said bye bye to Rowan. Well, she looked at me and instantly burst into tears! She was scared by the hat and obviously didn't recognise me as me! Poor thing. It was quite funny....

Tiff - LM seems to be so reactive to visual stuff like that (I saw you clip of her watching the computer on FB). Rowan doesn't really react to stuff like that. It must be so funny!
