Pinching and squeezing

ok,I would like to know if anyone gets pinched/squeezed by their babies while bfing?Tia seems to not only not be able to keep her hands still (she's contantly smacking,waving flailing) but when she puts her hand on my boobs she queezes SO hard and often pinches,I have little marks and bruises from where she does this.It hurts so much that it causes me to pull her hand off quickly coz of the pain,this startles her and makes her cry, I know she doesnt mean to,does anyone else baby do this?I think it might be time for weaning coz it's becoming really not nice for me anymore and she is almost 5 months and has started cereal.I will miss the coziness,I mightjust keep the evening feeds,but I know she won't need them much longer either.

Owen does this too and this did influence my decision to start weaning.
Between the pinching and the constant turning of his head (taking my breast with him) it has becoming a very unenjoyable experience for me too!
I have little cuts on my breast from him digging his fingernails into my skin!!!!

He still eats 5 - 6 times a day and only 2 - 3 of those are breast feeds now. I can't seem to let go of the early morning feeds!!!! It helps that he really likes the bottle and he goes nuts when he sees it!

Yeah,I am thinking of weaning her too,she is almost 4 and a half months and Although I wanted to bf her until she was 6 months,I think I will just keep the late night /early morining feeds like you!

I hope she will drink formula...She usually hatesthe taste but I guess if she is hungry she will eat right.

Girls i was excactly the same, Kyrah was still BF every 2 1/2 hours up until 4 1/2 months at 5 moths i dropped one feed etc and then about 3 weeks later i was down to morning an night feedds only which i was happy doing and loved< kyrah also fed longer inbetween ( also solids though) however about a weeka ago she caught a cold and refused the breast all together i kept trying for 4 days but she only wanted bottle, so she is all on bottles now i even put my breast to her mouth the other day afyter she has ben on bottles full time and she just bit me ( which she has never done) and then let go not interested.

When Kyrah began teething around 3 months she would bite my breast with her gums that hurt, but when she got teeth she never did!!!
and Yes Kyrah was always busy with her hands too when feeding, luckily i wear a necklace so she mainly use to play with that!!

Addy totally does this. I have little red marks all over. I am currently trying to get her to stop. I normally stop feeding her, grab her hand and put it down on her side. I tell her no and then start again. Who knows if this works though...

haha - yes thane is a true little man!! right now he wants to eat on one and play with the other whick includes pinching and rolling the other around with his thumbnail!!!!!!!!! ouch!!!!! his hand goes straight to the boobie

Kian always does seem to want to do something with his hands. He used to pinch and scratch me and I would have some red marks. I usually ended up holding his hand or playing with his hand. He pretty much stopped that - now he loves it when I wear a necklace he can play with, or plays with my hand or my nursing bra clasp. :lol:

My husband askd why I had red marks on my boobs the other day. Little scratches and pinches and bruises!!! LOL! He was shocked to realise it was JASMIN!!!

Yes she does this a lot and also to my hands if I got my hand near. Uff what us ladies go through for our kids lol
