Got my CH's today!

I finally got my CH's today!!! Im so excited lol

This is my first cycle temping (the past 2 cycles I didn't temp) so Im super excited to see that I O'd...now my temps just have to stay up, if my temp goes back down tomorrow to like 97.3 something then it's going to take my CH away..now we don't want that lol so send me your high temp vibes!!!

Well apparently yesterdays temp was a fluke b/c my temp droped way back down again and FF took my CH's away

Im REALLY Bummed right now..guess this is going to be an , anovulatory cycle, I just hope the next one isn't anovulatory as well, that's what really worries me.

Sorry Beth but you could still ovulate yet, you might be like me and have 6 week cycles as apposed to 4 week!

Its so weird b/c when it comes to telling other people positive things, I really mean it and it comes so naturally but when it's my self...I jus can't do it. its like I always see the glass half empty and think that I have bad luck.

Well Dammit my lucks gonna change! Just give me an ass-kicking and get me inline lol!

Just an update if anyone is interested. After my CH's were taken away, I got them back on CD28 and I talked to one of the FF guides b/c earlier she had said that it didn't seem like CD20 was really an option so heres basically what our conversation was:


Me: Ok, so I got my CH's back today at 8DPO ? Temp shot up to 97.65 this morning. I don't know what to think of this, esp since you were saying it didn't seem likely that I O'd on CD20.

What do you think about this lol ? Well Im not gonna get my hopes up to much b/c last time I got them they were taken away the next day so maybe it's just a fluke today.

I changed your detector to remove the o date as that is the more accurate analysis. I don't think that cd 20 is an option and we would likely see it removed again if your temp dipped or changed if a different pattern emerged. The next few days are going to be key though as your temp is clearly up today. So if it stays up, you may have just ovulated.


So yeah she seems to think that CD20 wasn't the correct day, so she changed the detector from advanced to FAM (fertility Awareness method) which identifies Ovulation after 3 high temps above the previous 6.

My temp stayed up today so Im reallly hoping that tomorows temps is up there again..maybe I did just O. I hope so! If I did I think we timed BD pretty well (wasn't even really trying to either just happened to work out that way)

My temp needed to be 97.6 to get CH's today and guess what my temp was. Seriously it was 97.59!

Im out this cycle it looks like b/c Ive entered in some pretty high temps for the next couple days to see what it would say, and yeah no CH's.

Oh well hopefully next cycle will be the one!

OH Beth, you must feel so disappointed. All I can say is, when I first started temping I had to play around with the temps until it gave me my cross hairs. I got pregnant tha month that I first did my temps and if I hadn't have changed it myself then ff would never have given me my ch's but I did ovulate as I got pregnant. FF I think seems to suit some people but not others (including me) so I wouldn't take it too seriously. I know that must sound silly as I still use it myself but sometimes have to take it with a pinch of salt. Hang in there, got my fingers crossed for you.

Well I actually do have CH's now for CD30. One of the FF guides suggested putting my detector on the FAM method instead of advanced that it would give me a better analysis for this cycle.

So, Im 4DPO right now, so hopefully my temps stay up and this will be it! Im testing April 9th so Im keeping my fingers crossed.

Im suprised I O'd so late but like I said this is my 3rd month off BC so anything's possible.

Well hmmmm. Yea for ovulation, but I can't say I like to see your cycles getting longer. But it is what it is. Could be an off month for you. Let's hope for that....and a too of course!

I can't help remembering that month 3 after BC was strange for me too....but I went from previous 30/32 days down to 22. That wasn't good either!

Yeah Im really suprised it went longer than last the previous 2 cycles but nothing I can do bout it lol. I also thought what if the advanced detector was right and I did O on CD20 (which was 3/16) instead of CD30, and really my cycle isn't long maybe I am preggo but I took a test on Saturday (3/28) which would have been 12DPO IF I really O'd then and it was neg. I know that 12DPO is still early, maybe I could take another one, but I highly doubt that I O'd on CD20, b/c it just doesn't look like I did according to my temps.

CD30 looks a lot more likely, and thats what the FAM detector says.
