Low Fat Yummy Goodness **Recipe shares**
Low Fat Baking/cooking Ideas, Tips & Recipe Shares..
I started a thread similar to this one but not on low fat, then 24Penguins, had mentioned in my thread that she is on a diet and would be interested in low fat recipes, so I thought it would be a good idea to start a low fat thread as well...
Again just like the other thread we can add recipes here that others would enjoy and we could also insert a picture of what we have baked/cooked if we want... And give each other different tips or ask questions all to do with baking yummy goodies & yummy meals..

I assume this is "low-fat", but I dont really know what is considered "low-fat"...so I'm putting this here, because I want Nika to see it lol.
A quickie recipe:
Turkey Ranchero (or Chicken Ranchero, or Steak Ranchero...)
1 package prepared rice
1/4 cup water
1 can Mexicorn (11 oz)
1/2 cup shredded reduced-fat cheddar cheese
2 cups strips of cooked turkey (10 oz)
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1. Stir rice and water together in a covered skillet over medium-high heat. Add the canned corn and shredded cheese; heat through for 3 to 4 minutes.
2. Top the rice with turkey and drizzle with your favorite barbecue sauce.
Serves 4 (or 2 w/leftovers!)
Tip: Serve this with corn bread and premade broccoli slaw or a tossed green salad.
