OMG I hate spiders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, ya'll i am freakin out! I know its no biggie, but i hate spiders SOOOOO bad!!!

Ok, picture it...me and thane hanging out watching bubba ride his four wheeler. I had thane in his little stroller that i keep outside (well not anymore...) and he's just sitting there being sweet. Well its cold as hell here in TN today...60 degrees! it was 90 yesterday!!! So, I decide to park thane in the stroller for a sec (ray is outside too) and I'll go get his jacket.

He's smiling at me when i come back outside and I go to put his jacket on when I look above his right shoulder and to my horror, I see spider legs on the side of the stroller!!! And not teeny weency itty bitty spider legs..BIG ASS SPIDER LEGS!!!! OK!?!?!? My heart absolutely DROPPEd out of my chest...i am borderline arachnophobic. I was shaking a little trying to get that damn strap off before that thing made it the front of the stroller and i really FREAK THE HELL OUT!

I finally get him out and by then ray is like "what's your problem" and he turns the stroller around. I swear ya'll, it looked like a HUGE brown recluse I would have DIED if it had bit him. And Ray killed it before i could see if it had the violin on its back, but i'll tell you, that little horrible monster was huge. and my blood pressure is STILL up from it!! I keep thinking that it was right by his little head the whole time :S Oh i am just FREAKIN

You just gave me goosebumps. I would have freaked out too. Glad he didn't do any harm.

Thank you mscherry!! I know i freaked the hell out! I am still sorta uneasy about it all. Im looking up the spiders right now to see if it was a brown recluse. it was so huge....and seeing its legs crawling slowly to the front, oh i'd have lost it if it got on him i need to stop thinking about it i know... but MAN i just HATE spiders!!!!!

awww,I hate spiders too.Not so much afraid but don't like them.Don't worry though,it wasnt a brown recluse,they don't get very big,being small is one of there charecteristics! Glad Thane is ok! xx

Dude...it SOOOOOOOOOO looked like a brown recluse but i went back and looked at its eyes, and i don't think the pattern matches...regardless i am HAUNTED by it. i know you think i am overreacting, as many people will, but think of something that you r really scared of and then imagine it was close to your kid. i am trying to forget about it... i think i need some sort of counseling for all the sh*t i am afraid of

Yuck I hate spiders too and since the reno, it seems like DF has stirred up lots of bugs in the house, eek!! But that big ass spider would of killed me, just like the time I had put Audrey in her room when she was just a baby and was laying her on her playmat and this big bodied spider (probably nothing near as big as you say) was crawling on her mat ( I figure he stirred up lots of bugs while renovating her room too), anyways I freaked and wouldnt' put her on the floor in her bedroom since then, LOL!!

haha! yes gutter, sounds like you can relate!!! its just hte THOUGHT of what could have happened if we hadn't of seen the nasty things! :S AHHHHH!!!!! I don't blame you a bit!!!

Gosh my heart is beating that much faster just hearing you tell us about it! I HATE spiders too and would scream my head off even if a DEAD spider touched me...in our old house we had quite a few massive wolf spiders come in the lounge until I figured out that there was a 'open' little air vent above the window...I taped that dam thing up!

UGH Wolf spiders are freakish looking :S That's sorta what this one like except not hairy. it really looked like a brown recluse on steroids but anyway, no nightmares about it last night...so that's good. BUT when i was in the shower, my hair fell across my face and i almost ripped my head off trying to get the "spider" off me!
