I do see that temp rise, Beth! Hmmmmm. PErhaps just a late O for you? Good thing Mr. G wanted to get frisky last night, that would be good timing! Fingers crossed for another rise tomorrow!!

Great news Lindzee! how did your OPK look today?

I saw some EWCM today too! This was the stretchiest by far so far this cycle. So maybe this really it. Hey, we could be in the TWW together!

I had the most EWCM I have had since I was pregnant the last time, so I am hoping this is a good sign. Trying not to be too excited and it is silly to be excited over this, but you never know? My opk still wasn't as dark as the control line but a little darker than yesterday. Going to call DH and tell him to wake me up tomorrow morning at 4 am for some bding!! Covering the bases!
My back is also sore....hmmm, HOPING!!
I totally hope we are in the TWW together!!

Well today's temp is about the same so that's encouraging, I guess. Overall my temps are low this cycle though. No new action but I'm glad we BD'd the other night.

Lindzee, I notice that you took 50mg of clomid last cycle and this cycle. Should thing's not work out this month of course we have to believe they will but 'if' they didn't will your dose be increased to 100mg?? how many cycles did they give you clomid for?

and Beth, hang on in there. I was convinced you'd ovulated already on CD14 but clearly I was wrong. Hopefully anyday now....at least your temps are steady and easily understood. x

I don't know what will happen for next cycle [hoping there isn't one of course!! ] I am going to see my doctor next week so hopefully he will tell me something. I am definitely going to ask about it, that is for sure!

I think I am giving up on OPK's. Still no positive on one yet. And I thought it would have been by now. Hmph. I think it is easy to miss your surge with those stupid things. I think we will just keep bding every other day-ish and that is that! Pos. OPK or not.

Honestly, some women do have troubles with them, Lindzee, but I didn't think you'd be one of them. If hubby is willing, keep up the every other day BDing.

Lindzee - Don't give up the OPK's yet!!!! At least try them through this whole cycle. I thought I would NEVER get a positive and then I finally did!!!!!

Thanks for the encouragement Beth and Lou Lou! I took two today and will do the same tomorrow, so we'll see if it ever happens. I have a feeling I may have missed the surge..... with the other fertile symptoms I have had. I won't give up yet though! Thanks for the advice.

Well I got my dotted crosshairs today! So I went back in and added the EWCM I saw so it made them solid lines instead. So you'd think I'd be happy.....but today's temp was such a jump, I can't help think that FF might move my O-day in a couple of days!

What CD are you Lindzee and what day did you O last cycle?

Your chart looks good! I think FF might move your O date by 1 one day, but we'll have to see! YAY for cross hairs! Today I am CD 15 and last month I O'ed on CD 18, so perhaps it will be around there? Or maybe this weekend? I'll keep using the OPKs and see if I get get anything!

I used to use OPK's on some cycles when the first time around and I used to find it really frustrating. I remember testing up to 3/4 times a day so not to miss my serge....I got my FIRST positive at 11pm one night....the 2/3 previous tests were nearly positive but for sure at 11pm I remember it so vividly it was a no doubt that's positive type of result I was REALLY excited and posted a picture on the forum (as it was then) and we did DTD that very night......the next day I tested as per usual first test of the day was at lunchtime and it was a nearly positive but 2 tests later and by 11pm that night it was negative therefore I knew I very likely ovulated during the night. We used to then try and time BDing late at night and first thing in the morning. Both our children were conceived with early morning BDing sessions!!!!!! LOL!!!

oh and also just to add BOTH my children were conceived after I led on my belly after DTD. With Theo I didn't clean up straight away but with Klara I did and then got back into bed and fell alsleep on my stomach. I now know that my cervix is postioned in such a way sticking my legs in the air (which I did do time and time again) was just creating a little pool away from my cervix.....on my belly however I was covering my cervix with the goods! It's amazing what you learn about your body after having your cervix checked a million times in late pregnancy!

Thanks for the advice Georgi!! I am doing about two a day the last few days. Today was my darkest one yet, not quite to the control line though! Will test again tomorrow or perhaps later tonight? [I have lots!]

I lay on my stomach afterwards too. Do you have a tilted uterus? I do and apparently laying on your stomach is a good position so that is what I have been doing. Let's hope I have an AM conceived story to tell too!! Thanks for popping in and continuing to support Beth and I.

They never said I did BUT when I had my first smear at 21 they really struggled to find my cervix, granted it was high up but it tilted really far back if that makes sense obviously this meant nothing to me at the time. But after doing some research after conceiving Theo I realised that perhaps sleeping on my belly after DTD was the key (or at least 1 of them) I never had any vaginal examinations again until I was in labour with Theo I was 4cm dilated and they seemed to find my cervix ok but I had a smear the cycle I fell pregnant with Klara and the nurse REALLY struggled and then again with Klara I was closed and VERY posterior right up until I went into labour. I was told my cervix was really difficult to reach at each examination - I had overall 5 examinations before being in active labour when I had maybe 2 or 3.

When I was 10cm dilated I still had what they called a slight lip we had to wait for that to disappear before I could push, the midwife said it was just because my cervix was still very much in the posterior position. My knowledge is that the cervix is always in the posterior position until labour where it usually moves into the anterior position but for me it would seem my cervix even when fully dilated still kinda tilts that way.

It's really good though that you already know you've got a tilted uterus and are sleeping on your belly some people don't find thing's like that out until they've been for months upon months only to realise if they had changed position it would have increased their chances each month.

I had a another big temp rise today! FF hasn't moved my O-date, and I suppose it really doesn't matter. For one, I can't do anything about it anyway. And two, it's all about the egg anyway; I shouldn't be to worried about the sperm.

Oooo that's a lovely nice rise Beth and wow wee your BDing is pretty darn good!!! If we consider the 0+12 method your BDing timing would = a baby girl! Best of luck honey x

AFM, I JUST [like 5 mins ago!] got my first POSITIVE opk! It was very close last night, but not quite as dark as the control line. It was today! I will do another test later this afternoon to confirm, but I am pretty sure it's the real deal! Now to wait until DH gets up from work for some bding before he goes to work!

YAY!!! that's brilliant Lindzee so by rights with-in 12-48 hours your temp should go up!!

Georgi, YES! I am very excited! I just did another OPK to confirm and it was just as dark, if not darker than the one from around 11 am.
I think I might take my temp tomorrow and Monday just to confirm O - even though I am technically not temping this month, LOL!!

Beth, it was like you said, darker on one side of the line....now I get what you meant!!

Great news! So maybe by CD18.....which will exactly the same as last month! HEY!!! You ovulated earlier in your cycle than I did......how different is that?? Maybe it's a good sign for both of us, lol.

Now just trying to decide if we should BD tomorrow and Monday or stick with the every other day and just do Monday. I have heard so many different things about it that it is hard to know what to do, you know? Anyone have any thoughts on this??

And Beth! To funny that I will O earlier than you this cycle! I am going to take that as a very good sign for both of us because you needed to O later and I needed to O earlier, so this just has to be the right mix for us!!

And I am definitely happy you told me about the fading line thing, I thought of you when I was looking at it! Should I take another OPK tomorrow? To see if it is still dark or fading again? I guess it doesn't really matter now that I have a positive today.

I'd do another OPK tomorrow. It's possible you'll get another positive, or a stronger positive, or maybe it'll start to fade....but whatever the result, it'll help you pinpoint O day better. It's hard to say when the best timing is, but just be confident that the swimmers will be ok. Maybe try mid-day Sunday??
