Milk supply slowing in Right breast??
My left boob has always been the leader lol but usually the right one at least kept up by half now I am pumping every 4 hours and getting between 6-8 out of lefty but these last few days I am only getting MAYBE 2oz out of the Right one.
I at least wanted to pump untill Noah hit 6 Months I have a nice HUGE stash that will last me at least 2-3 months or longer ( 3 HUGE BINS in Deep freeze ) but I wanted to keep those for after 6 months so that he could have my milk for a bit longer. Any ideas or suggestions? lol poor little fella makes me look a bit lop sided
Thanks ladies

Re: Milk supply slowing in Right breast??
I had quite a few probs keeping my milk supply up, i was fine for the first couple of months but then it started slowly going down, i found taking Feenugreek helped keep it from dropping any further but Domperidone increased it alot which i got from my doctor. It was fantastic,
I would offer him the more emptier breast first and in between feeds see if you can pump more (even if youre not getting anything) the stimulation will help and tell the breast it needs to make more.
good luck hunny xxx

Hey ash!
i meant to respond earlier, but i know it feel wrong, but keep nursing as much as possible with the smaller breast and start out with it even though you WANT to start with the other at each nursing session. your milk supply should build back up in a few days this way

oh!!! and btw... i dont know if your cycles are back yet, but depending on where you are in your cycle your milk supply will slow down a lot! i remember from when i was pumping...i would usually get bout 8 oz but during my luteal phase and af i would only get 2 or 3
