disturbing sleep ?
For the past week Cloie has been stering in her sleep, Moaning and randomly waking up with a high pitch short cry then goes back sleep like it never happened right after. Is this something i should be worried about as it happens a lot and every day for past 8 days ?
Re: disturbing sleep ?
whoever came up with the phrase "sleeping like a baby" has never seen a baby sleep!! haha, every baby ive ever met does this. they go through sleep periods, usually about a half an hour long each and alternating, like half hour of deep sleep where they dont move, then half an hour of fitful sleep in which they move around and make noise but they are still sleeping, then another half an hour of deep non moving sleep, and so on until they wake up for good. most new parents problems with sleeping issues lie in the fact that they actually wake their babies up before they are ready to wake because they hear them stir and make a little noise and figure they are awake, when in fact they are just in a very light sleep pattern. although if you make a lot of loud noise when they are in their light sleeping pattern, you will probably end up waking them haha!! dont worry bout it hun, its normal

yeah..... what 24 said.......
Owen did/still does that. He will moan or make sharp little cries and then go back to sleep.

Re: disturbing sleep ?
Totally Normal honey! Just make sure she is not to cold or too hot. For the most part, crazy dreams are totally normal for those little ones. I don't know what their little nightmares could be about..... maybe that they see the boobie but can't get to it???
At any rate, hang in there. I remember when LM was first born, the first night at the hospital she woke up every hour on the dot with her arms shooting into the air, and a high pitched cry. But she never woke up!!!
