Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
Found this on fertility friend:-
Can I get pregnant from intercourse on the day of the temperature rise?
By the time you see a thermal shift on your chart, it is usually too late to conceive that cycle. Ovulation occurs on the day before your temperature rises. The best times to have intercourse are the few days before you see a thermal shift on your chart. A single rise, however, does not always mean that you have ovulated. You need to see a clear and sustained rise to confirm ovulation, so do not stop having intercourse until you see several elevated temperatures and ovulation is confirmed.

I guess my concern was not knowing when exactly I did O, as we had sex at midnight. I'm sure I'm not prego anyway.

Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
Toff, I am sorry. I have been there too where you want a baby so badly but had originally planned to put it off and I think at the time I hoped that we would get pregnant by accident. Sounds really silly but no matter how your circumstances are, financial or whatever it doesn't change how you feel inside and deep inside you want to do what you were born to do, which is be a mother and nuture a little baby of your own. Probably sounds a load of babble but I just wanted to let you know that at the end of the day there is never a perfect time to have a baby and it sounds like you would make a good Mum no matter what! We decided to just crack on with things as I had problems with my pcos and endo and didn't want to risk leaving it too late. We aren't rich and have a few debts but it hasn't stopped us from loving our little girl and we wouldn't change it for the world. Plus nowadays you can get so many good bargains for little ones on the net and from the supermarkets that it's not too bad if you are sensible. Hope that helps you a little. Maybe you shoudl sit down and have a heart to heart with Rich. Thinking of you xxx
Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much galaxy, that's lovely :-)
It's the first time that I haven't thought "sh!t I can't be pregnant now". Even though I know the chances are extremely slim, I do hope. And I've told Rich that. He says he'd be happy, and we'd cope. We would, other people are worse off. Rich has a teaching job lined up in Sep and I do have a job, it maybe sh!te but I have one. Anyway, I don't know why I'm thinking about it lol. We're still living at home, until August, maybe when we're living together we will decide to have a little one.

Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
I'm glad you both feel the same way, it does help. If you get pregnant while you are in this job, at least you can look forward to your maternity leave to get away from it all!
Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
I'm going to talk to Rich tonight about it all, to make him see that I do actually want to start a family and I 100% sure it's not just broodyness. I have never felt like this.

Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
My temp keeps dropping, scaring me into thinking that I'm going to O extra-early. Hubby and I were planning on BDing starting tonight in anticipation of Thursday/Friday being the day.

Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
Toff, you go girl, hope the talk goes well!
Beth, all you can do is bd anyway and it may turn out that your temps settle where they are before they rise after ovulation. Just bd as much as possible!

Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
Beth, could it be because you're no longer actually taking the clomid? Is it possible that would have such an immediate effect? Just a thought. Do you get any other signs leading up to O, other than the opk's, that you can monitor? You know that I have everything crossed for you this cycle!
Toffee, I hope you are able to have a good talk with Rich and you both will agree on what you want, and when. Good luck!

Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
It is weird!
I'm not prego I know, the temps are falling like normal. Ah well
Spoke to Rich and the normal, we have to feel settled in jobs etc. Not necessarily married, but I'd prefer it, so it's catch 22 really! When we move in together we'll review the situation :-)

Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
Toffee,
Yeah, I'm glad I never had a desire to have children until I had a job, house, car....I guess it's from living in rentals with my mom and sister that made me more aware of my life growing up. I wanted better for my life and didn't even think of babies until a year after we bought our house, started my new job and got my first car....after my friends son was born in March, DF and I thought I'd finish up all my BCP packages and started in June 2006. I just hope you make the right decision and that there isn't necessarily a right time. I bet if my friend had her baby when we didn't own a house, car or job, I would of felt broody a bit too.

Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, if I had a decent job now, I wouldn't think twice about ttc later this year really. Atleast I have a car and I chart hehe. I'm not too fussed about owning our own house, it's just too expensive here. We will do eventually, but not for a few years.

Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
Well, I'm a bit frustrated right now. Back when I took Clomid before, if I'd ovulate, it was around CD10/11, just like it has been now when I'm ovulating on my own. Sooo, I thought I'd O around this time again. No PEAK on the monitor, No positive OPKs. Guess we'll take a break tonight and maybe resume tomorrow -- hopefully I'll get some sort of postive/PEAK reading then.
Just re-read an earlier post this week....i was worried about ovulating "early." Silly me.
Toffee, I know you're probably a bit disappointed, but I think it's for the best right now. ((HUGS))

Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
when i took clomid i was told it takes 7-10 days after your last tablet to ovulate ( i hope its sooner than that for you) just think its preparing a nice BIG ripe egg lol good luck Beth xo
We are prob going to officially ttc this month ( or just not try not too) as my docotr said to try and my accupucnturist syas accuppuncture went well and my body is now preparred, also i am feeling goo and it has been nearly two months since my last M/C. I dont know wheni will O and i am away from hubby this weekend, so if it doesnt happen this month i will not be too disapointed but on a positive note, i feel positve that when i fall pregnant again i will have a super sticky baby
good luck all

Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
Good job Toffee! At least you'll have some money coming in when you and Rich move in together (I'm so excited for you about that!), and you'll be able to search for a better job once you're there.
Still waiting for O-day. Perhaps it's today since my temps took another dip. We'll see what today's OPK says. I had to buy some at the supermarket and pay more than I wanted to (usually get them on eBay). I wanted pink dye ones but not sure if these are. I'm tired of those ClearBlue Easy OPKs. Still not really feeling the O-day is coming. I've had pretty distinct o-pain the past four cycles, but not this time. I'm just worried that nothing is happening because of no acu, despite taking the drug. Trying to be patient.

Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe you aren't feeling O pain because accu heightens that feeling? Just a thought.
Maybe this is just the beginning of how your cycle feels.... you know one day you'll say, "the month I got pregnant I didn't even have O pain, etc!!!!)

Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
Right now I'm just plain ol' frustrated. I did not get a good temp rise today so I'm unsure if I've ovulated yet or not. I am not happy.
Sparkles, I was checking out your chart and see that you had a wedding anniversary a few days ago. Hope you and your hot-looking husband had a great day together!

Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
I spoke too soon...maybe. I peed without thinking this morning and didn't POAS for my monitor. Well, since I hadn't had anything to drink yet, I waited and managed to squeeze out a few drops (again, into my shaving cream can cap...gotta throw that thing OUT! lol!) and dip my test stick. And the result for the monitor is PEAK! So I'll take an OPK later today and see what it says. So maybe today is O-day, maybe tomorrow!
*sigh* Means hubby and I REALLY need to do something today since we didn't do anything last night. Hope I can convince him. He's gone all day today and will likely be quite tired when he gets home. He just doesn't understand that I don't always know the EXACT timing we need, although I think I've done a really good job of telling him in advance in the past.
