It looks to me like your temps are more stable now and up where they usually are, so perhaps it was a really light and now you can have a chance to try for this cycle. And in regards to not being sure about what to do... it is hard, isn't it? I keep having dreams about adopting a baby [for the past few nights in a row] and it is starting to weird me out?! I am still really hoping that we can have a baby ourselves, but who knows, right? Just think about it and see what feels right for you guys.

I started bleeding again today for 30mins or so. Then it stopped again. This is messed up!

I think my body was trying to have but it never built up a good lining because of no ovulation, or maybe it absorbed it all, or maybe it's all still stuck in there (ugh). I remember from an u/s I had back in March 09 (?) there was problems seeing things because of a thickened uterine lining probably due to annovulation.

AFM, I stil have bouts of spotting on the toilet paper. I thought it had all stopped but nope! Just another thing to obsess about if I was the obsessing type, and I've pretty much given up doing that anymore. I *think* I'm CD7 today. My periods only last parts of 3 days max.

Well crap, I just checked your chart, Lindzee. So the temp is down but still high but on a downward trend. I'm still hoping it's nothing. Have you been getting your progesterone checked during this Clomid cycles? But then again, that doesn't seem to be the problem with you.

No news for you, LOL! But I like your positive thinking. I have no more tests, or I probably would have taken one! Pretty sure that my temps are on their way down for tomorrow or maybe Saturday. I feel very tired, grouchy etc, so I am sure is on the way, fun fun. I haven't been getting my progesterone checked, I? have had it checked two or three times and both were fine, so I don't think that is the issue....I have no idea what is though. Why does my Oct appt seem so far away? FEeling very tired and down today.

I am STILL spotting and it's incredibly annoying to me. I posted on my other forum that all this crap has led me to not feeling very "fresh." So I remembered this song and found a cute and very funny annimation of it as well. Too funny!

I think I might end up changing my chart. I started bleeding bright red again yesterday evening. Put in a tampon and when I took it out approx 4hrs later, it was probably 3/4 filled. So what yesterday CD1 instead??? I noted on my current chart that the current CD1 had very brief bleeding and then added the bleeding on Tues (even shorter), the spotting Thurs/Fr, and then finally bleeding again. This rotten is so freakin' confusing! Nothing overnight but I feel like there might be later today. If that's the case, that will be two consecutive days and I think I should note it as CD1 and 2 then. What do you think?

How annoying BEth! I don't get why it has to be this hard/confusing for us. I would say if you had bright red blood then maybe today is CD 1? Or was the bright red from yesterday?

I am waiting for tomorrow. At least it stayed away for my SIL's wedding yesterday.

Well, all three days I saw bright red (Friday the 6th, Tues the 1oth, and Fri the 13th). It was heaviest on the 13th though. But nothing much today. Just spotty stuff again.

I'm considering changing my chart again, although it really doesn't matter much in the big picture. I've had pretty regular flow since Friday afternoon so that makes it more like an actual . So I'm thinking of changing Friday to CD1, would would make today CD3 and now CD10. Any thoughts?

I haven't checked your chart but I'm assuming is here now? How the deal on the house?

Beth if I were you I think I would change your chart so that Friday was CD1. Did you already take the soy or were you holding off due to the spotting and on and off bleeding?

Hey mel, thanks for looking. I'm not sure what's going on yet today but I did still see red this morning so might still be continuing.

I took soy Monday-Thursday of last week because I *thought* that was CD4-8, but I do think maybe I should count last Friday as CD1 instead. Now the question is, do I start soy again or not?

This is not my normal at all obviously. The frequency of bright red is a lot higher, usually it turns brownish, you know? Also, gosh I don't know how to explain this without being too gross, it's kinda like I have a thin discharge too and it seems to be a bit smelly. Maybe it's because the uterine lining is not breaking down as usual because I didn't ovulate? Maybe that's why it's taking so long? If this is what I have to look forward to as I get older, well, let's just say I'm not looking forward to it! The odor issue reminds me of years and years ago when I had cryosurgery on my cervix. A patch of cells was chemically frozen and the recovery was about 6 weeks as those cells "thawed" and sloughed off. Very gross, very wet, and let's just say dead cervical cells don't smell good either! *sigh* The stuff we women go through, huh?

Hmmm, Beth.... I wish I knew what to tell you in regards to your chart?! SEems kind of tricky. I say go with your gut feeling and I would also suggest maybe going to your OB or finding a new dr to discuss some of your concerns with. Might be worth looking into.

AFM, started today. Bleh. Thanks Mel, I was feeling positive for this month too. Two more months until my appt at the fertility clinic, so maybe I just need to resign myself to the fact that it is not going to happen until we go there. I don't know. Feeling pretty discouraged....

Ah well... better get back to some packing! The house is sold and we are moving in six days! [to my IL's because we can't get a house in time!]

Sorry Lindzee Damn witch. On another forum I visit there have been loads of women that tried for a looong time and then conceived naturally as soon as they started seeing a fertility expert! lol! You never know. But whatever, CD1 is always crappy ((((Lindzee))))

Ok, I changed by chart. Merged the June cycle with the August 6th cycle and then started a new one on August 13th. Whew! got heavy this afternoon. I am simply not used to that....or having it go this long. Annovulatory cycles really really suck!

I skipped my temp this morning because started up while I was still in bed instead of waiting until I had been up for awhile Six straight days of bleeding now.....

It was really sad, wasn't it? But SO true. So many parts of it hit home for me.

I do feel like there's a sigma about fertility issues. I can't even use the "I" word, I hate it so much. I feel like I'm less of a woman because I can't conceive. I know it's stupid, but I can't help it. I wonder if men feel the same pressure if it's male fertility issues?

I commented to hubby tonight that I had to buy another box of tampons. Not something I normally would mention but I was really telling him that I bought Morgan a bunch of (generic) greenie bones, lol. Anyway, I said that it was unheard of for me to go through an entire box for one period. He said, "well it makes up for that 70 days you went with out one!" Yeah, he's a commedian, lol. I replied that it had only been 50 some days this time, lol. But yeah, it all just sucks.

Well I was pretty dumb and watched the video while at work. So not a good idea, wow I didn't realise how much things like this would still effect me! You would think that being pregnant would take away some of the pain of infertility but it doesn't. Those years of trying and wondering if it would ever happen for me will always be very raw memories for me, but hopefully will make me a better parent in the long run. I will ALWAYS appreciate my baby and what it took to get him! Even now I have these moments where I just stare at my bump in wonder, can't actually believe that this IS happening and it's not just a dream! I am so sorry you are both still going through this, watching that video really has brought it all back to me and nobody deserves to go through that.

I just feel like it's my fault for waiting so long to even start trying to . If I had been on BC all those years, if I hadn't been so careful for the couple of years I took a break from HBC and used other method, if this, if that, maybe it'd be different now.

I skipped the temp again this AM but I'm not sure if is still going or not. I suspect it'll appear again in a little bit. *sigh* I read that heavy and/or prolonged bleeding is not unusual in women my age particularly for an annovulatory cycle. Oh joy.

Thanks for your post, I can imagine that it still hurts and I imagine I will feel the same way if I am able to get pregnant again.

Beth, I keep wondering the what ifs too.... why so long on BCPs, why were we so careful for so long, etc, but it doesn't get me anywhere. Just sad and frustrated. All we can do is try to hold out hope. As for the temping, I don't think I am going to temp at all and just relax until our appt. We'll see....
