Re: TTC for over 12 months
Yea, I hope they can. They are usually good about that because they make so much more money off of the insurance. The RE I was just seeing covered ALL of my blood work and u/s ( PHEW ) but they claimed things diffrently or else I would be in a real pinch! Can't wait to see where this new RE takes you, you will like a RE much better than a Gyne they can just do so much more. I also started off with a Gyne and stayed for a few months but she said if I ever needs more than clomid pretty much I would have to move on but clomid never really worked right for me even with 100mg I had to take it for more than 5 days to get some eggs that where not great and the clomid made me really emotional and SUPER bad hot flashes! I really hope that you enjoy the new RE and will be checkign in to see how things go for you!!

Re: TTC for over 12 months
Leeaman I have just been reading your IUI diary and I am so excited for you hun! I can hardly belive that this is happening after all this time!!!!
Ladies I think I may have O'd earlier than normal this month but obviously can't be sure untill I have the next few days temps. I have been getting fertile CM the past few days and my temp jumped up this morning so who knows? If I did, this will only be the second time in over 2 years that I have actually O'd on CD14!!!

Re: TTC for over 12 months
Well I know I said I was going to try to post here more, but I just wish there was someone new here to read it! Feel like I'm just repeating myself. *sigh*
So in a nutshell, feeling quite down this week because my reproductive organs all went on strike (actually my uterus just joined in; ovaries and one tube were already on strike), my husband is an insensitive idiot, and it took 3 calls in 5 days to get my local doctor to call me back.
So things can only get better, right? Got a prescription of Provera (finally) or something similar to go pick up today to bring on overdue AF.
I keep speculating on what the new doc, Dr. J, might suggest when I see him.

Re: TTC for over 12 months
Weekly update: by about Tuesday I started to come out of my depressed funk and feel better. Looking back, it's like, wow, I wasn't in a good place then. But feeling better now.
Finished my 7 days of progesterone on Friday. In retrospect, I wished I had held off starting it for a few days. I'd like CD1 to be as close as possible to the 31st. But oh well, it'll all be ok. I'm on CD45 today -- back before my Clomid days I could have fit two whole cycles within this never-ending one.
Depending on when Aunt Glenda (that's when she's a good witch, like now when you need her to show up!) makes an arrival, I'll be getting a CD3 fsh blood test this week. I'd was hoping to get this ordered from the RE instead because he might get it covered by insurance. We'll just have to see. CD3 is also when I'll start my highest dose ever of Clomid. Again, I wish I could consult with the RE before starting it, but we'll just have to see. This will be my 7th cycle on Clomid, but the other gyno said that was not a concern since it hasn't worked yet. That 6-8months on it advisory only starts once it actually causes ovulation.
I'm less against surgery to fix my blocked tube now. I'm pretty sure we can get that covered by insurance and maybe just maybe if the RE can fix the tube and get me ovulating, I stand a chance at conceiving on my own. I'm trying to get my weight down with little success right now. I'm suspecting there might be some hormonal/blood sugar issue going on I don't know about.
So a big week coming up....finally! Seeing the new doctor in less than 1 week now. And probably starting Clomid 150mg and probably getting a fsh blood test.
