Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Beth,I'm sorry hun.I know you mjust have had high hopes for this cycle we all did as it looked so good.I'm going straight back to the positive.Look at what you've gained,is this the 4th month consecutively that you've ovulated,I STILL think thats a huge a acheivement in itself and despite how down you might feel you are on the right track. You're body is doing what it is supposed to and you are on your way hunny!Love you!
as for me,yet another low temp this morning.Perhaps I am not going to O this month?I am certainly not stressed out like I have been other months.

Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
Well my temps took a huge dive over the weekend but not below the coverline. I wasn't going to bother testing today but my temp went back up so I did. But it was negative.
My hip is better but was still painful all weekend. It popped yesterday and I think that may have been it finally going back in place. I was very pleasantly surprised when i got home after a 6hr drive (without getting out) that I could walk almost without pain and could stand up straight again. I do see the dr. again today though. Not feeling too bad at all today either so something is going well.

galaxy wrote:Hey Beth, did you use a FRER or an internet cheapie?
On this point I thought I'd share a progression pic of my internet cheapies, I so wish that I had used a FRER on 12dpo as I am sure it would have been an obvious pink line instead, but you can see that on the cheap tests the second line didn't become obvious until 19dpo and to be fair it looks darker as it's dried!!
Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
It was a store-brand FRER-type test, not a strip one. Blue dye.
I spoke too soon about my hip feeling better....it's stiffening up as the morning progresses, lol. Oh well.
Thanks for the encouragement Holi! I think if there's a next cycle this might be my Clomid one, might just be the boost my eggs need.

Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
Overall cycle 24 - but how many cycles of ovulating? will this be no 4 or 5??
Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
Georgi, cycle #23 was the 4th ovulatory cycle in a row, but I estimate I did have 2 or 3 other ovulatory ones. One was my first cycle on Clomid; that was confirmed through a blood test.
Thanks for the hug, Gutter. Feeling blah now. Whoops! that sounds wrong! I'm feeling blah so the hug helps!
I hope 24 is my lucky number too Nika!

I see well we are certainly 1 step closer to your now! I feel very positive about this cycle for you!!! x x x
Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
sparkles, I forgot to say but your story really is a bit creepy! Now I know Americans tend to be a bit uptight about nudity but that situation would NEVER happen here! Especially not with a female patient/client and a male massage therapist.
Well ladies, I'm at a bit of a crossroads here and I'm not real happy about it. I had an appointment tonight with acu/chiropractor dr about my hip problem. Because we now know I'm not pregnant , she went ahead and did back adjustments using her special chiropractor table contraption with me in a belly down position. Very strange. It just kinda moves you around. And I didn't feel it. not like I did when she manually popped those joints in my hips.
Anyway, so we then discuss Clomid. I've/we've done everything she recommended. I now ovulate on my own and there's no uterine lining problem. Her issue is taking the Clomid under a doctor's monitoring. My argument was that the OB/GYN office DIDN'T MONITOR me on it the all the months I did use it. Other than 7DPO progesterone blood tests a few times. Even that I did wrong because they didn't tell me to do it EVERY month. No ultra-sounds EVER to determine if the follicles were big enough. No nothing.
Her argument is I need to be monitored to make sure we're really maximizing the drug's potential. *sigh*
I see her points but to me I'm starting that ol' Doctors-vs-Beth routine again. I have to "persuade" someone in that OB/GYN office to give a damn about me, and it's been fight that I surrendered to ever since that RE gave up on me back in early November.
Soooo, I guess I'm not gonna take Clomid after all this cycle, and I'm not happy about it. I just feel like i need to do *something* though, you know? I guess I'll get my annual exam/Pap scheduled with my Nurse Practioner so I can approach her in person about being my advocate. I don't feel like I should have to tell the OB/GYN office how to treat a patient, but I guess I have to be more proactive and I don't like it.
But then acu dr. wants to change things up...further disrupting me. She wants to do more work on my back because she says things are still out of whack and that certain points down there can affect fertility. Wants to do some acu-pressure work. And then one (ONLY ONE??) session of acu this Saturday because she's at a conference all next week (I will probably ovulate late next week....CD10/11 you know). She says acu will help maintain what I have but is not going to give me that extra UMPH I need. So she's changing things up and getting me out of my comfort zone. Agggrrhh!
So after our discussion, she had one of the massage therapists work on me, getting some of those acu-pressure points she wants. Sparkles, I was thinking of you because I had a male therapist this time! LOL! But I was not naked! I had on a pair of their scrub shorts again, and he didn't even really pull them down any (the other gal did), instead just worked his hand under them. OH! A man had his hands in my pants! The pressure points were quite painful and I had to stop him on one or twice and use less pressure. No pain, no gain, but I could only take so much of Hurts So Good! I guess the theory is, some of this massage/acu-pressure work not only will help relieve the hip problem, but also increase blood flow to the ovaries.
Sorry for the long post.

Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, my husband thinks I should take the Clomid. He says why pay for the monitoring/ultra-sounds etc if I only get this one chance at it. I see his point. When I told him I wasn't pregnant, he got dejected looking and said "I can't do anything more!" Poor guy. I KNOW! It's me...
Actually I think I could get more Clomid since I now have a history of ovulation. (YEA!)
Opinions?

Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
Beth - as far as your back problems go - I totally agree with your therapist! Get it corrected BEFORE you get pregnant. I am STILL having problems from pregnancy and I honestly don't think I'll ever be "well" again. I've been told that the problems were untreated for so long I'll always have complications. So, I'm glad to hear she wants to correct the problem now! I don't completely understand the problems I'm having but I hurt A LOT.
As far as the Clomid goes...... I honestly don't know what to tell you. Have you spoken to any other ob gyns? I just wish you could find a doctor that genuinely wants to help you - someone that would be as proactive as you have been.

Re: Your Chart...Part 2!!!!!!!!!!
Lou Lou, sorry you're still having back problems from pregnancy. It kinda scares me because I read this SI joint problem often happens during pregnancy. Yikes! I have a feeling my problem has been untreated for a long time as well. I've had problems with this hip before but never really thought too much of it because it'd go away in a day or two and never hurt like this.
Sparkles, not my first time on Clomid but this will be the first time at a doseage this high. Also I was not ovulating on my own before and now I am.
