ok,everyone,just having a freakout moment.I HAVE NOt long been off my period and hubby and I Bd's this morning ,I told him we were 'safe' I keep track of my cycle religiously and 3-4 days after my period is over we are still in the 'safe' zone...after that,we pull out until after I know I have ovulated although I don't temp,my body is very obvious when I O so I know when I am safeand when I have O'd I check my CM,I am always horny the week before I O,like CRAZY animalistic horny,then I get O pains every month the day before O,once I have O'd it all goes away including my sex drive and usually 2 days after that,we are 'safe again.It's worked for us the past 2 years.but Today I checked my chart and irealised it has put my (estimate and it's usually right) at 3 days prior to O day. :/ I am horrified and very concerned,I am sorry that is is going to sound ungrateful to those of you who are and have been for some time,but I get pregnant SO easily and don't want to be pregnant ever again.I know there is nothing anyone an say to me make me feel better.But I had to share with my girls...I guess now I am in the 2WW (well almost). STUPID me!

Hang on a second I am trying to understand what you mean. Are you saying you've DTD 3 days before ovulation possibly/likely is to occur???

in every article you read about concieving,it says your fertile period beggins 4-5 days before with the highest chance of coneption 36-24 hours before O time...But seriously...I don't think we know of many iosltaed cases where a girl has conceived 3 days before right?....right? :/

I think three days before O it definitely can happen. :S Wasn't Georgi one of them??

Yes it's true I did!! But Holi although it's POSSIBLE the chances are slim. Also bear in mind you DTD in the morning and I DTD late at night, so just that much closer to ovulation. Umm I got pregnant this time using the withdraw method and didn't even have sex at all 7 days before or after I ovulated. And we are very good at withdraw. To this day we aren't totally sure how I got pregnant like that. I think I got pregnant over 7 days after I ovulated and using withdraw so I don't know if your more likely to get pregnant before or after you ovulate but it does happen at crazy times.

DH and I decided that after we are are done having kids he is going to get a vasectomy, cause I too seem to get pregnant if he sneezes on me. Have you guys given any thought to that. I know some guys are very against it. But I don't want to be on BC forever and since I have to have csections I have to be careful about getting pregnant again after 3 kids if we decide to have 3.

An unfertilized egg only lives for 24-48 hours after you have ovulated therefore it's not possible to conceive 7 days after ovulation as the egg would be dead. How were you working out your day of ovulation Chrisb?? I would say based on the above fact your ovulation date must have been different to what you suspected it to be. We also conceived using the withdrawal method so I'm back on the pill to avoid pregnancy.

Having unprotected sex 1-2 days BEFORE ovulation and the day of ovulation is far more likely to result in pregnancy. However sperm can live for 5-7 days therefore if you have unprotected sex 7 days before ovulation you STILL could fall pregnant, it depends on many other factors i.e. the right environment for the sperm to survive.

Just to add I do know of someone online that swears blind she and her husband had sex 9 days before ovulation.....and fell pregnant!!! Yes 9 days she was charting and to be fair as I recall the day of ovulation did look correct. Her husband must have had SUPER SPERM!!!!

uuuuuuuughhhhhhhh,wow,thanks for all your stories,but I am not feeling more reassured.Anyway,just have to wait and see.Toffee...I didn't even THINK of the morning after pill! I am not against it and have taken it once before (didn't work ironically) and it's most effective within 24 hours,it's too late now really,the chances of effectiveness diminish by the day,also we are waiting on a paycheck to be able to even afford a dr's visit.I know it sounds like an excuse,but we have $150 to last us 3 days (we have to get gas for my immigration thing in Charlotte) and it costs about $100 for me to visit the dr's plus whatever the cost of a morning after pill is here.NOT sure .Anyway...I dont think it would do much good now.But I appreciate all your thoughts and loyalty standing by me in my stupidity .I guess we'll just have to wait and see,I told G I was thinking of going and getting a cheapie OPK just to track when I do actually O.I had 2 episodes of cramping yesterday and am having a couple otoday,I hope it doesnt mean I am O'ing even earler than average because that would increase chances even more...anyway,trying not to obsess and what will be will be.Georgi is right,we'll work it out if it happens!

Georgi, I wasn't charting at that point but since I had Emy my ovulating is very painful, way more so than period cramps. I went to the doctor several times after having Emy when I started ovulting again to be looked at for it. So I could really tell when I was ovulating then. We did not have sex that month except for two times on consecutive days due to having swine flu, a yeast inf, and then travel. Due to all the medicines I was on that month we were extra careful. So we had sex 1 week before I was due to get my period. 8 days and 9 days past when my body had the ovulating cramps and using withdraw. So unless my body ovulated again, which could be possible since your body does weird things when you stop breastfeeding maybe( I stopped the month before). Still the withdraw didn't work either though. My due date was also quite off due to how late in my cycle I got pregnant. However I never felt like I ovulated a second time that month, which is why the pregnancy was surprising to both of us.

yes I believe so,I have not had anymore cramps since yesterday and the day before,but I have had (yesterdaay) TONS of CM,not EW but loads of it and very slippery which is charateristic for me before I O.Today I am blocked up (constipated) which also happens around O,I wonder if anyone else has that feeling? It's often for me when I don't eat healthily.Anyway,so yes I think O day is on track or at least around the predicted time.I hope the little spermies got stuck in the cervix and didn't make it through to be waiting for mrs.egg...I dare say I'll survive if i AM Pg but I trully hope i am not!

As crazy as I feel saying this after feeling the opposite for years....I also hope those little spermies didn't get that far or even better ovulation happens tomorrow or Friday instead. We can only hope honey!! x

Jeeze Holi I noticed your ticker and was like WTF??? That was what I did too, I was counting down the day to get and of course it was a I get preggo easily too now.

oh hunny it's ok!I don't have any hard feelings about that! thanks for the wishes.I am hoping to see the witch in four days,I made it 5 incase my chart was a little off but if it's 6 I'm gonna be freaking out! It'll be ok,my boobs don't hurt at all anymore (which is usually my first sign of pregnany) I have no tirdness and no nausea (which are also usually very quick to show up,at least the tiredness is.) I am optimistic anyway!
