Re: Mums of babies 6-12 months
We had Molly's EEG today but don't get the results until we see the paediatrician as it was a technician who did it and he can't tell us anything. She cried a lot bless her when they attached the leads to her head and she has a cold too so she hasn't really had a good day.
Hayley, so glad to see you on here! I can't wait to plan Molly's party, I think we will have some of her baby friends over to Monkey Bizness, an indoor soft play area, during the day and then have family over for tea and cake in the evening. We're a bit short on cash too plus I have to start to pay off my student debts that I have built up over the past four years. We're going to buy her trike though, one that can be adapted and will last her until she is three.
Glad it's getting a bit busier, come on ladies get all your friends on here!

Poor Molly, at least she's young enough to not remember it. Hope the results come out good. Keep us in the loop and I am praying that little Molly is just fine!

Re: Mums of babies 6-12 months
wishing for the best for molly!!!
poor little kaydance had to come home early from daycare today seeing as she got a fever of 102.6! i took her to the doctor cause shes had a runny nose for 7 days, and a cough for 1 day, and now the fever today! the Dr. said that her cold looked like it was towards the end, and her throat and lungs were clear, but she has an ear infection in her right ear and thats why she had a fever! poor little girl, i didnt even know her ear was bothering her. anyways, hopefully she will make a speedy recovery, i hate to see her feeling bad.
how was everyone elses day?

Re: Mums of babies 6-12 months
Audrey finally went down this afternoon for an almost 3 hour nap!!! I think we're both sick and sharing the same cold as last time she had from teething. I think it's still teething related, poor baby She ate half her own banana tonight, I never gave it to her like that and she gobbled it up until it was too slippery to eat anymore, so I fed her the rest. Hope she sleeps good tonight
Aww and poor little Kaydance, thank goodness it's the end of her cold, poor baby

Hi Hayley,
Molly has had a few seizures but she hasn't been ill at the time, nor had a temperature. The paediatrician said that she will probably grow out of them but ordered an EEG to be on the safe side. She also referred us to the epilepsy nurse for advice. We see her again in a month, so I will keep you updated! x
Re: Mums of babies 6-12 months
Hey,my cousin has epilepsy, she is older than me,but they tried a special diet to help with seizures...here is an article about it and a guide of what the diet consits of,maybe it will help them not happen so much until you know whats going on.x

Re: Mums of babies 6-12 months
Thank you Angel, very interesting! Just had a look, I think I have heard about this some where along my nurse training for people whose medication doesn't work. I will do some more reading x
Re: Mums of babies 6-12 months

Re: Mums of babies 6-12 months

yeah, basically everything that was posted yesterday got caught in a glitch in the system, but the administrators are hard at work fixing it
Re: Mums of babies 6-12 months
:k well. hopefully this post stays. We went to our 6 month check up today and Eva is 14 lbs and 10 oz. Still a little small but at 4 months she was 12 lbs 12 oz. so she is growing. She is also 27 inches. Her tooth is finally starting to pop through too.
My DH came home today so I have to put Eva to bed and spend some time with him.
